Solid
We did a floor drain centered in our garage for our new construction house. I’ve drive over it only a few times now but there doesn’t seem to be any issue. I can lift the grates up as intended with no damage. Highly recommend!

Solid
Grates are very solid and tough. Drove my F-250 over them with no issues. Other reviews I’ve seen have mentioned people are driving forklifts over them with no issues. Better than a lot of the class B galvanized grates you will see online because those other ones have issues with corrosion and don’t have as nice of a look in my opinion. They sell these on their website as well and they have mounting brackets that help with installation. Overall would recommend

Bolts too short
Good sturdy product. We had to replace several of the bolts that hold sections together. The originals were too short.

Like it already & it’s not even installed. Sturdy!
The recommendation for this drain system came from a retired Navy Chief Seabee and he Knows construction. Mike, at Vodaland Customer Service, is very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with.

Seems OK so far
My GC procured several sections of this (enough for 12 ft) for my new garage. We installed it in an hour or so, with some frustration and head-scratching but ultimately it was succesful. The sections don't clip together all that well, and it would have been smarter to have had a pair of shallow screw standoffs on each side near the edges, and supply a simple brace to hold the sections together more effectively. As it was, when leveling it, the sections pulled apart here and there, necessitating cleaning, reattaching, and redistributing disturbed roadbase that we had set it on. That delayed pouring the quickrete around the unit.Does it work? Yep, quite. We turned a garden hose on at full blast for a minute, and no water accumulated at all. Can it sustain at least the weight of passenger vehicles? Not sure yet, since the driveway hasn't been poured, but it seems plenty thick and I would be surprised if anything happened to it.Cleaning may be a chore, as another reviewer mentioned, since the grate(s) have to be removed if one wants to be thorough. That's not a horrible task with a #3 Phillips, but I'm concerned that the material will fatigue and eventually strip from too many removals of the screws. The unit we received did not appear to have bottom drain knockouts, and so we affixed a 3" pipe off the end. Unfortunately that doesn't leave much rise from the pipe to the surface of the garage floor; this would be a similar cracking risk for a driveway.Ultimately, so far so good. I'll update the review after using it a bit more.
