Works fine, seals well, put an LED bulb in so you don't have to worry for 5 years...

While these gaskets appear fit for purpose, they are not Pentair brand products. They are Leslie's Pool brand clearly stating that they are comparable tp Pentair. Sometimes off-brand is as good as OEM but not always. Only time will tell if these have the durability and quality of the OEM products.

Exactly what I was looking for

Replace the gasket when you change your bulb. These things dry out and leak over time. When I pulled out my fixture to change the bulb, there was water in the fixture and algae around the inside.I replaced the halogen bulb with an LED, which will probably last far longer than the halogen. Probably a good idea to change the gasket periodically (every 5 years???) to be proactive against failure, even if your bulb is ok.

After a few adventures I finally succeeded to receive orderly the 4 inch replacement seal instead of the 8". Greta delivery too but all clients shall be careful on the diameter when ordering. Recommended supplier.

Replaced the original gasket in the spa, after 20 years of use (I think that says a lot about the original bulb that I had to replace). A light coating of silicone, and a completely watertight seal. No complaints at all! Just a tip, I wrote the replacement date in permanent marker on the side, just so I know the last time it was replaced...
