Ancient History Readers' Theater Grd 5-8

There are so many opportunities to enrich lessons using these short scripts! Relevant background information is given before each as well! Highly recommend!

This is a great book for any middle school social studies teacher. My 6th grade students loved reading the play and performing reader’s theater while we learned about ancient civilizations. It’s a fun way to liven up any ancient civilization class.

I teach 6th grade social studies and I love this book - the plays are short and easy for the kids to do - with a large selection of characters for each play so I can get lots of kids involved, its just a fun addition to my teacher bag of tricks for teaching about Ancient History. It even has discussion questions for each play. I would recommend this to any teacher.

Great addition to my classroom. The background info provides students with a idea of what was going on during the time the play is taking place. I love that discussion questions are provided at the end of each play.
