No gimmicks. Just a decent shaver for a good price
I'm so glad I spent less on this shaver rather than going with one of the bigger brands that are full of gimmicks for more than 3x the price. No stupid pivoting heads (I have hands and prefer the control). No flimsy, built-in trimmer that won't last as long as the main shaver. Doesn't look like it was designed by a marketing team of 5yo boys on a sugar rush. The money I saved went towards a seperate trimmer (Philips OneBlade, which is also great) and I still had more left over than if I had bought one of the more expensive, big brand, gimmicky shavers. Also, I have fine hair that is quite flat against my face and this shaver does a pretty good job of getting all the hairs without much irritation, even after a few days growth.

Good Razor
I like it better then the Remington PF7600 F8 Comfort Series I replaced with it.That one worked well just dropped it and needed to replace it.The groomsman gives a close shave and is very easy to clean, as long as you have time to let it dry, you can run it under water to wash it, just make sure you let it dry, or you get a crust build up.it charges quick and holds a charge for 5+ shaves. I would buy again.

Real world review
I've been using this razor for 1.5 months. I'm recharging it for the first time, so battery life is good, considering I shave nearly every day. This razor does what a razor is supposed to do, shave your whiskers. It does a good job as a razor, but it does have some quirks that are a little annoying.I shave in the shower, and the slick plastic body is a little hard to hold firmly. The razor is smooth and it slips in my wet hand, causing me to continually change my grip. Honestly, it's not a big deal, but it becomes a little annoying over time. The real annoyance is the power button. It's placed exactly where a person naturally holds the razor, and because you have to hold the razor tightly with wet hands, I am continually turning the razor off while shaving. It takes some real finesse to learn how to hold it just right so as not to turn it off every 5 seconds. Some rubber pads molded into the slick plastic body would help significantly with the razor slipping, and moving the power button to a less conspicuous place would help in not turning it off every 5 seconds. If you're like me, and have been using a rotary razor, be aware that this razor is going to take a lot of time to get used to. I'm still in the process after 1.5 months. I have learned I definitely prefer a rotary razor for the contours of my face and neck.Bottom line, this razor does a good job and you can't go wrong for the price. The razor is a good value. Just be warned of some real annoyances.Update after 12 months:I've been using the razor a year now and I can definitely not recommend it. Let me explain.First, I still say it does a good enough job cutting whiskers. That's not the issue. The issue is reliability. I had the original razor replaced on warranty about 6 months ago because all the sudden it just stopped working and the battery lights flashed. It did not turn on, and no matter what I did it would not turn on. Wahl has a lifetime warranty and they are very good at standing behind it. I had no problems with the warranty replacement. The problem is now the warranty replacement is doing the exact same thing as the original razor, it went dead while I was using it. The battery lights were flashing and it would not turn on. 4 hours later and the lights are still flashing and the razor is dead. I know I can send it in to Wahl and trust that they will replace it, but that's not the point. The point is, who wants to send their razor in for a warranty replacement every 6 months? Not me! I'm done. I'm buying a new razor and it WON'T be a Wahl!

The Groomsman Electric Shaver provides a close smooth shave!
The Groomsman electric shaver is and is rechargeable with a Lithium-Ion battery! The shaver glides very smoothly over my face and neck for a very smooth clean shave. For proper maintenance after cleaning and rinsing the shaver foil and blades, I put a light dab of Premium Lubricating White clipper oil on a cue tip and lightly brush the inside of the clipper foils. I do this once every two weeks. This lubricates the shaver heads for smooth and efficient shaver operation.

Great, inexpensive shaver
My expensive Braun vanished in airline bag inspection (hmmm, hope the guy who did the security check is getting a good shave) and I really debated about what to get as a replacement. I figured at this price I didn't have a lot to lose (the Brauns are so expensive and I just couldn't bring myself to shell out that much money). I like this shaver as much as the one several times the price. The charge lasts forever, it looks cool, it's easy to hold, and it manages to work well on my heavy, fast growing facial hair. I've been very pleased with this one and am ever so glad I didn't sell off my life savings to buy the Braun.

Suddenly died after six uses! :-( Returning it to Wahl.
Wahl Groomsman Electric Shaver (Lithium Ion Battery) Model 7063 — Purchased in September. Used SIX TIMES (I shave every two weeks). Died in early December! No lights. No 'on'. No charge. NOTHING. Instantaneous death. And, no, it didn't get wet or get dropped. It just STOPPED. And, of course, the warranty has expired. I have used it six times! And I only use it on my lower neck (I have three other beard / hair devices) — so it's hardly worn out. I am outraged! And it's hard to find one these days with a stable head that doesn't 'pivot' (I need it to be very stationary and *not* pivot). I'm sending it, at my own cost, to Wahl and I shall update this review later with an update. [First posted: 11 December 2022]

SENT IT BACK
The shave quickly got pitiful even though l thought l was cleaning it after each shave. Unfortunately, when I put my glasses on for the final cleaning for my return, I found the cutter bar to be densley packed and not easy to clean. My new Norelco triple head, nice, no clogging (just rinse under warm water), closer shave, quieter and gentler. At first I didn't think it was working!

Best Ever
I never write reviews. I was looking to replace my old "I liked it so much I bought the company" shaver which worked pretty well. I decided tottery thisl because I love my Wahl Detailer trimmer. It's been the best shaver I've ever owned hands down. After two years it gives me a shave close enough to last all day, something I never got from other electrics. Consider the lack of a pop-up trimmer. Those things never work anyway. The point of this machine is shaving which it does superbly.
