I haven't used it a lot yet but so far it's been great straight out of the box. It clearly has plenty of power as it goes through every piece of wood I cut like it is begging for more of a challenge.Now I need to build a miter saw table so I can keep it stable.The only negative I can really comment on is that changing the angle isn't super precise. It takes a little back and forth to finesse it to exactly where you want it, but I'm basically just nitpicking.

This is the 2nd Tacklife product I have purchased and very pleased with both (first was a cordless drill dual function hammer/drill mode). The mitre saw came exactly as described. Very easy to use. The mitre and bevel angles were easy to change. Detents on the typical miter angles (90 and 45 deg) were especially useful. I have purchased two mitre saws (the other was a Dewalt) and are about equal in ease of use and functionality. Both made acccurate cuts without any need for special adjustments. For the price, this Tacklife came with a laser guide and was a lower priced. The Dewalt I use at a different location and has held up very well and I cannot comment yet on the durability of the Tacklife, but for typical home use applications (I used it for redoing my baseboard trims) the Tacklife was more then up to the task. The only minor issue was with the change-out of the blade. The torque tool provided didn't give me enough leverage to replace the original blade (ie the bolts were torqued to a level I could not remove with the provided tool but I will admit I am not the strongest guy around).
