Aqua Mix Grout Colorant - 8 oz Bottle - Black

Awesome stuff! Easy to use (just paint on with a brush, let sit, mist with water, remove excess from tile, stand back and admire your results) and with a great outcome! Such a difference from the dingy, inconsistent grey-brown. The grout is now truly black and it looks brand new. Plus there's enough left in the bottle to do another whole bathroom. Will recommend and use again.

I installed 24" X 6" porcelain tile that looks like wood floor throughout the lower level of my house. After grouting with the suggested mocha colored sand less grout I was disappointed. The grout dried much lighter then I was expecting.I used this to stain the grout and I am very pleased. Very easy to use with minimal mess. Now the grout lines are dark black and makes the floor look more like a "real wood" floor.Pro Tip: Use a paper plate to hold the stain and a toothbrush to apply the stain while wiping the excess immediately after it starts to look like its drying.

This is not a dye..it’s a grout overlay and works very well if you install it correctly. Be patient, follow instructions, don’t use too much water when cleaning up, do small sections at a time, etc. This made my bathroom look 10x better. I’m very happy with it and would buy again.

i’m not sure if I like this yet or not… I bought it because I make mosaics & i needed grey/black grout. well in order for me to get that color i had to use SOOOO much!!! almost felt like a waste of money

I CHOSE THIS BLACK COLORANT PRODUCT BASED UPON OTHER REVIEWS AND TRIED IT ON A DIFFICULT JOB. I RESTORED 125 SQ. FT. OF A DARK GRAY 4 IN. SQUARE CERAMIC FLOOR THAT WAS IN BAD SHAPE AND WHICH HAD 1/4 IN.WHITE GROUT JOINTS THAT COULD NOT BE CLEANED.THE TOUGH PART OF THE JOB AND WAS LABOR INTENSIVE WAS THE REMOVAL OF THE COLORANT FROM THE TILE ITSELF. TRY AS YOU MAY, THE COLORANT WILL STILL GET ON THE TILE. IT IS BEST TO LET IT DRY FOR A FEW HOURS THEN TRY VARIOUS METHODS TO GET IT OFF. IT DOES COME OFF AND LEAVES THE GROUT LOOKING PERFECT.I DID THIS JOB ABOUT 5 OR 6 MONTHS AGO AND THE GROUT STILL LOOKS A DARK BLACK EXCEPT FOR A FEW SMALL AREAS THAT NEED A TOUCH UP, PROBABLY DUE TO MOISTURE COMING FROM UNDER THE SLAB. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT AND WOULD USE IT AGAIN.

We have black granite kitchen counter tops that needed to have some grout touch up. So I bought “black” grout but it turned out more charcoal gray. After reading reviews I took a chance and was glad I did. I used a fine art paint brush to apply so there was minimal on tile edge. I waited about an hour or so for it to dry. For clean up I used a microfiber towel and granite cleaner/polish and had zero problems. Pictures are before grout, after grout and then finally after color. Very happy with results. Hopefully it will last.

Not only did this grout colorant arrive 3 days later than I was originally promised, it came entirely dried out. It looks like it might have frozen and then dried out. No idea but you can see by my photo that the content was crumbs and not liquid. Very disappointing quality control.

This was easy to apply, and the color matched perfectly.
