Delta Faucet RP49835 Mounting Nut

This item did not fit my faucet stem. Both are 1-1/4-inch, but the Delta Mounting Nut was smaller than my different-brand faucet. Because the Delta Mounting Nut is actually made from aluminum (not brass), I was able to file the threads away and enlarge the opening enough to use this essentially as a slip-on washer held on the faucet stem by the nut I was trying to replace. Once slipped on the bottom of the faucet and secured by another nut, I replaced the two set screws that came with the nut with longer screws and tightened them up. Problem solved.I would consider this item if you are confident that your thread size matches up with it. Unfortunately, it is hard to determine this without having it in hand. The two set screws are pretty short, so they may need to be tossed.

Used this to replace a rusted and corroded one for a kitchen remodel. The aluminum is fine but the steel washer and steel bolts rust in time and are only good for omen install.

This mounting nut was NOTHING like the pictured item. We ordered it because the picture showed a beefed up nut. What we got was the same thin nut that we already have, that keeps slipping loose.Very disappointing

Was able to install a $500.00 faucet I found at a thrift store in my house. Exact replacement for it.With it install was easyMoney well spent.

Lost this piece in the move we just did. Glad I found it online here at Amazon. Seemed a bit high priced for what it is but I needed it to get the faucet up and running, even paid next day shipping prices. Worked as well as original.

Didn't fit true to size, ended up being useless for what we needed
