A solid "bridge" camera
I like to take pictures of nature -- mountains, birds, what have you. While my iPhone does wonderful work up close, it just doesn't get me quite close enough for a lot of the scenes I want to capture. Were i younger I would go for all the gadgets and what not, but I ain't so I won't. This camera is a perfect "bridge", as the term has it, between a base level point and shoot camera and one that affords greater capabilities. I have been delighted at the results. Be sure to keep the manual handy, however: the controls are for the most part not intuitive and hence you will need a reference.

Do not buy
This camera came on poor minimal packaging. I opened the box and there was no instructions. Also camera took a long time to turn on, then when it finally did, was in Chinese.

Great camera. Worth the money!
Just received camera. Everything there in perfect condition. Paired with my smartphone no problem. Pictures look perfect. Taking to Berlin and Prague. In all- seems like an easy and functional camera. Instructions were there on multiple languages. Packaging could be better. It scared me when I saw it. But all there and working I am happy.

Better than advertised!
Product arrived a day early, and is better than I anticipated. Had it up and running within 5 minutes and connected to my phone so all pictures auto-download with SnapBridge. Highly recommend for daily use. Much less bulky than my pro-cameras, lighter, and I don't need to carry around a bag full of equipment. This Nikon model exceeds all of my general photo/video needs.

Don't buy
Do not recommend the pics all come out blurry, hard to focus and can't have any movement what so ever. Very disappointed

The best thing about camera was the tilt screen... It's a. Old camera....2016
Good picture however camera struggles with focus when zoom in on subjects...I can't give a review on low light picture yet.... It's a little over priced. Average 3 out of 5...

Nikon camera
Loved the camera when it worked. I would turn it on and when I was ready to take a picture it would turn itself off, then it would not turn on for at least 30 seconds. Sent it back for refund in July and still waiting for my refund.

Easy to handle. light
It took my husband awhile to feel comfortable but he loves using it over the Kodak instamatic old school
