These candles smell divine. I live in Atlanta and know the smell of real magnolia blossoms. These candies are the closest smell to them. I purchased one, lit it and immediately purchased 3 more. They burn in my home daily. I have a large home and you can smell their beautiful fragrance throughout it. These candies are lovely. I was using another brand that cost twice as much until I discovered these.

The scents are wonderful!! Candles last a very long time!! Over 48 hours with continuous burning!! Love them.The crackling noise they make is relaxing!!

This candle is perfect. I have watched several and one never fails.

Keep the wick carefully trimmed. You can hear the crackle, but only if the room is silent and you have your ear up close. NOT a good idea, you'll burn hair. Other than that, the sound is very cool like a fireplace. And, like a fireplace, it can send off tiny embers. They go out in a second, however for precaution, safety, etc., never leave a burning candle alone. I did that once; it wasn't the candle that caused it, but, a faulty lighter that didn't completely go out. My dresser top went up in flames; THANK GOD I got to it in time. I tell this story to warn of those cheap clear, plastic, colored lighters. They sell great lighter items on Amazon; compatible for these candles!! THESE SCENTS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!

This candle has a good solid scent that carries through to the end candle. The wooden wick puts off a slight pleasant crackling sound also.

Although the Woodwick is expensive they are worth thr money. I orefer yhese over Yankre candles and Bathand Body Candles

I love the wood wick candles. I use to buy them on a regular basis. But now I am very Leary about buying them as the last two that I bought was broken. And now that the price has went up. Every time I put one in my cart. I automatically change my mind. It is sad because they were my number one choice of candles.

My son introduced me to these wood wick candles which give off a relaxing sound of burning wood with a gentle crackle. The aroma I chose was Magnolia to give me a sense of the spring to come and it was very comforting. The candle has a long burn time, I have had it on for 3-4 hours several times so far and it has only lost about 1 1/2 inches in depth so lots more to come.

I love the crackle sound

The media could not be loaded. There's quite a few candles that we've bought in the recent past that have a wooden wick, similar glass body with a wooden lid, and they do make a sound like a real crackling fire, but that only lasts for a minute or so. After that, its just like a normal candle, but with a bigger wick.Feeling a bit cheated, we thought we'd try what is probably the originator of the trend; a Candlewick.Listen to the video and you will get an impression of how it sounds. Its like a real small fire. Very calming!The candle is scented, and the smell is also better than the copycat candles; smells a lot more refined.The downside is of course cost; these cost more than other candles, but they do actually sound like a fire.EDIT: We've now had the candle burn all the way to the bottom and noticed another downside. As the candle burns past half way down, the crackle sound starts to go from a warm fire crackle to a Geiger counter. The shape of the glass container does things to the acoustics. You may not notice this, but my partner certainly did!Oh, and looking at some of the other reviews regarding breakages; ours came very well wrapped; the outer box was bubble wrapped, and once the box was opened, the candle itself was again bubble wrapped within the box. So double wrapped, and far less chance of a break in transit - looks like someone has heeded the feedback!So, all good, and a great candle!
