Great little camera
I had a canon 6D with two lenses, a 300 mm and a a 50 to 150 mm which made for heavy packing anytime I went on a hiking trip. In the end I decided to go much lighter and after much internal debate I choose the Leica because of reputation and quality. Only downside is that it does not have a long telephoto capability, after all it is a point and shoot, but since it has a large sensor I bring the subjects closer when I edit. But still it would have been nice if the zoom would go to at least or close to 300mm. Panasonic does have the same camera in the Lumix line for half the price, but then again the quality of the body and feel is not the same.

Upscale compact that exceeds expectations.
Perfect travel camera. Sharp images with fast autofocus. I like to color quality compared to other compacts. Very natural compared the over saturated, too bright green seen in some brands. Easy handling, solid chassis, dials and bottoms instead of touch screen for the most important functions. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth worked perfectly. The iPadOS app is simple, reliable and effective.

Price and function
Price is higher for exact same camera from Panasonic LUMIX LX100 II. You just pay ext fro red dot as status symbol.

Not guaranteed to work right out of the box
I’ve ordered this camera twice, and each time it arrived in an unsealed box. Each time it was defective. I’m not sure whose fault that is; Amazon or the manufacturer.

Sexy & Excellent
The photo i posted is cropped and about 2mp in size. Its a Jpeg.....no sweetening in post, and i took it outdoors on a very overcast day. (+2 Contrast -Vivid -"P"- Auto ISO - 1600 @24mm.... -5 NR). No extra in camera processing applied, as its not needed. So, this is a great camera.I also owned the LX100-2, and most of the Sony RX100s, and i like this one more. Its expensive, but it offers reliable AF, and seldom misses a shot.Lens is very sharp, offers great Depth of Field or Bo, and the camera feels like a quality instrument, tho its not heavy.Photos are better then anything Olympus is making, including the Pen_F.I can't offer a comparison between the Leica and the OMD EM1 MK2, as i have not owned it, but ive owned almost every other Olympus, both the Pen(s) and the OMD's and this Leica, imo, is a better camera, with much better color, and sharper IQ.Colors are Leica ..... exceptional, accurate, truly outstanding. You will need to buy the finger grip and plz note that unless you are using a very fast cardthere is a very slight "writing to card" hesitation between shots.Overall, the Leica is a lot of fun, and gives very very good IQ.Would a tilt screen make this camera perfect?.....probably, butfor now....no tilt.If you buy the camera, buy the grip, and you'll be glad you did.
