Banjo V200 Polypropylene Ball Valve, Three Piece, Standard Port, 2" NPT Female

The water tanks I am using to catch rainwater come with 2" threaded bulkhead openings near the base. I needed three of these valves. Also had to get a 2" threaded nipple (short pipe threaded on both ends) to connect the valves to the tank. The day the parts arrived I had three new empty tanks and the first rain in weeks rain threatening. Fifteen minutes later I had one of the valves plus the nipple attached to the first tank, valve closed, ready to catch some water (you can't add the fitting after the tank has water in it!).Valve is very solidly constructed, does not leak. Handle opens and closes the valve easily and smoothly. Force required is modest.I mentioned three valves (and tanks). Two of the valves unfortunately were the wrong size, 1.5" diameter. They are very similar in appearance to the 2" valves, but clearly marked 1.5". Whoever picked/packed my order grabbed the wrong size. So a little extra trouble to mail them back to Amazon, plus the waiting (and missed rainfall) for the replacements. But should be worth it in the long run.

Purchased this valve for a water storage tank because the price was nice and the large handle makes operating easy. The valve is super smooth, seals as it should and should be simple to disassemble if it ever needs servicing.

Opened and closed easy and used it on 1000 gallon tank

I bought three of these for my 12,000 gallon in ground pool, tired of replacing them every year, I have been buying cheap one but they don't last!!!

Does the job I purchased it for, but be aware that it will easily burst if water freezes. This is my third one, the other two were bigger and fractured but they worked the same.

I have a number of the FULL port version of this valve, and it's first rate. Rugged and durable, and always seals perfectly. Great design.Unfortunately when ordering from Amazon, I failed to notice this is the STANDARD port version, which means instead of a full 2" inner port diameter, it's only 1.5". Which means a LOT less water can flow through it when it's fully opened.The 1-start deduction is for not clearly indicating what Standard Port was, while emphasing it was a 2" valve.

I missed ordered a two standard port valves but I needed full port. Bear Ag - Liquid Handling Solutionssent the return label, but I am going to use them in another project so I will keep them. The valve is very good and I am very happy with Bear Ag - Liquid Handling Solutions. I give both 5 stars.
