Love my protein drinks
I use the Chocolate and mix it with milk, it actually tastes really good, and quenches my bowl of ice cream a day need (not entirely though, there is no cure for that) I am female 5'3 and 128 lbs. I am currently losing weight from a baby I just had and am having no problems with this drink, it doesn't "bulk" you, it doesn't have an unecessary amount of calories for people who don't need it. This is my first time using supplements with my workouts, and the protein helps your muscles recover, almost like magic. When I started at the gym again I knew I was gonna be sore the first couple of weeks and was prepared for it, but the protein keeps me from being sore the next morning, and I forgot to drink it yesterday and what do you know I was sore today from yesterdays workout. My husband is a label snob and will only use BSN products, he had huge jugs of the syntha-6 protein powder which I tried a couple times and disliked it so much I figured that protein drinks just weren't for me, but with muscle milk light they are!

Great product
I am a believer of Muscle Milk and it is the only protein mix I will buy. I bought the light version because I wanted lower calorie protein mix. I rate this a 4 rather than a 5 star because I do not like it as much as the regular Muscle Milk. It still does exactly as advertised and it is a great protein mix. However, I don't think it tastes quite as good and it doesn't mix as easily as the normal Muscle Milk. Unfortunately it also has less protein than the normal version as well. But, if you are looking for a low calorie protein mix it is still a great product.

first off i dont make breakfast very often cause i am usually super busy in the morning
This has been a key component in my weight loss strategy, first off i dont make breakfast very often cause i am usually super busy in the morning. adding the muscle milk has really helped. not to say that i know this is why im loosing weight but more so to say that it satiates me in the morning so i dont snack and then over eat at lunch. it tastes good and is really easy to make. i will say that one trick if its just not tasting perfect is to make sure that your drinking it really cold, maybe not milkshake cold or anything but definitely give it time in the fridge. i find that if i stick it in the freezer before a short run like 25-30 min that its perfect temp when i get done.

Good, but overpriced
Costco sells more for cheaper... This stuff isn't anything fancy, but I drink a shake in place of breakfast because I don't like to eat in the morning. It holds me over until lunch, and I am also able to get protein into my mostly vegetarian diet. My brothers drink multiple shakes a day, but they need to maintain muscle mass, and they seem to like it a lot. The taste is better than most other protein shakes, and I have yet to taste another brand of protein shake that tastes better than Muscle Milk.

My husband loves this, but you can find it cheaper elsewhere
This is my husband's favorite Muscle Milk product, and he has used this stuff for a few years now as his post-workout drink (runs, weights, etc.). He usually adds ice, water and peanut butter and blends it for a tasty treat. I've tried it before and prefer to add milk vs. water. I've also added peanut butter and some of the caramel syrup you use for flavored coffees to replicate a "snickers bar" protein shake that we used to get at our gym.

Best Protein Shake I've Ever Had
I have tried many protein shakes over the years, and this by far is the best one. Most protein shakes taste awful, but this one is the exception. It tastes great (my favorite is the chocolate milk). After finally getting my roommate to try it (she's seen me consistently drink a green soy protein shake that does not taste good), she agrees that it tastes good. Mix it up with either water or milk and drink before or after a workout. This is a great addition to any fitness routine. It is a little pricey, but compare the price at of Muscle Milk at GNC vs Amazon. The Muscle Milk Lite is still an effective protein shake with about half the calories of regular Muscle Milk.

4 to 5 stars for flavor...protein...meh
You can get a lot more protein from so other brands marketed on here. I did not have to time to muck about and do research and got this for my 18 year old away at school. His older bro chastised me for not consulting him on selection and I have to say, he was right. This light stuff is better than the regular which is chock full of unnecessary calories.

Please read
I can't believe this is on the market for consumer consumption. It's scary that this would be allowed. After reading an article about protein drinks in Consumer Reports magazine I quit drinking Muscle Milk and returned it to Amazon. You, as a consumer, should read the article. It's shocking and eye opening. "The samples of Muscle Milk Chocolate powder we tested contained all four heavy metals, and levels of three metals in the product were among the highest of all in our tests...Cadmium raises special concern because it accumulates in and can damage the kidneys, the same organs that can be damaged by excessive protein consumption. And it can take 20 years for the body to eliminate even half the cadmium absorbed today." The heavy metals in the product are arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. "Robert Wright, M.D., an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, who is conducting research on the health effects of exposure to toxic metals, says, 'Small amounts of exposure are inevitable, but a product that exceeds the USP limit is clearly doing something wrong.'"
