I surprised my dad got these for his 2010 Chevy 1500 crewcab, because he hated the round bars on it. My dad is 80 years old and he had new running boards on his truck before I can get there after work at 5. They were delivered in the afternoon around 15:30 and I work 25-30 minutes away. In less than 2 hours he had removed the old round nerf bars and installed the new set. He was amazed at the ease of install. Now he is a very good with his tools and vehicles, but he is 80. To add to the great value and durability they look really good on there.

These are pretty easy to install once you figure which side is the driver's side and the passenger's. They look identical but the spacing is different on the bottom where the brackets attach to. It took about an hour to figure out the first side after putting on all the brackets then taking them all off and putting them on again in a different way. Once I figured out one side, the other side took about 20 minutes to install. They look very sharp on the truck. The SST shines. Great value for the price. Makes it a lot easier for the kiddos to jump in the truck.My parts came wrapped and protected very well in the box. The only shortcoming was the very non descriptive 1 page instructions. A little more detail would have been useful.

I finally got a chance to install the running boards (3/1/2022) in my Silverado 2013 and here are my comments about the product.shipping was good, box was in good shape. parts were in good shape. However, some parts were missing (nuts 16 ea). About the installation, you will need a 13mm socket, ratchet and 13 mm wrench. In my case, we also used a tap 8mm - 1.25 to clean nuts' threads in undercarriage of the truck and the side walls so we could install the bolts. You will also need some lubricant when using the tap. Additionally, we replaced the lack washers as they were flimsy (first installation it bent) also we added a bigger washer (8 total) to install the bracket to the wall of the truck. the reason is because the bracket's opening/channel was too big for the washer provided and when you torqued the bolt, we end up bending the washer. once we install a bigger washer (diameter, about 1.5") the installation went well. final results, it looks good. let's see how it supports the winters, the salt and the sand. if you have all the tools, it should take you about a day's worth of work. you will need a helper specially when installing the running boards. install the brackets first and then attach the running boards to the brackets. if you are experienced and no surprises, it should be 1/2 day work.

I was certain that this purchase was going to be a bust.. So easy to install.. all the hardware and brackets were included.. This by far was my best Amazon purchase in 10 years.. We have been doing upgrades on my 15 year old son's truck and Amazon has us covered! This fit on my son's 2013 GMC Sierra Denali truck..

Great buy for the price and bolts on with ease. The support bars are a bit thinner than oem but has no trouble supporting just as good. Sleek chrome finish and have my truck a whole different look.

These were easy to install, me and my husband did it with no problem at all. They really made the truck look better. Very impressed with the quality. Would purchase again.

Recently bought new running boards for my 2018 Silverado 1500 crew cab P/U. The order arrived on time but when I unboxed and started to mount I realized I only had a parts listing and no directions. After hours of trying to mount the brackets to fit the boards I finally decided to modify the boards to fit the brackets by drilling the mounting pads out and moving them (2 of the brackets lined up but 2 did not) I was able to mount the boards. After the better part of 2 days in 90 degree heat I would not recommend the purchase of these boards when for another $20 you can buy some with directions.....

This is the 2nd set of running boards I've ever installed on my trucks and the quality of this set is way better than the previous brand I hadMy only complaint is that I ended up needing more washers than was provided. The directions showed you had enough but the mounting holes were allowing the bolt to get jammed up so I judged it to be best to run to my local Tractor Supply to get more washers. Not a huge deal but was a little inconvenient
