This pouch WAS awesome during the time that I had it. It was pretty durable and even held my radio onto my backpack when I fell off a truck and rolled several times (only damaged thing was my backpack and ankles lmao.) Surprisingly my UV-5R survived that too. however today when I got a new backpack and went to transfer the pouch to the new one, one of the buttons came off.Aside from that, this pouch is definitely good for hiking. I've ran for some periods of time with my radio inside the pouch and it does NOT want to fall out.

It's a fair pouch. Fits my Baofeng BF-F8HP well.You'll need to adjust your inner velcro pad fairly low to fit the stock battery. I think if you're using the stock battery you may want to put a little stuffing under the radio to keep it from sliding a little too deep in the pouch. I could see it fitting the extended battery good. It's not much different than the Onetigris pouch. I like the darker green of this pouch over the lighter green of the Onetigris.It's not a tight tight fit, but this gives ample room for the handset/mic plug. It actually helps hold the plug in place. I think I like the Velcro closure better than the Velcro snap of the one Tigris .

Shipped quickly and is excellent quality. Nice heavy material, and coloring is true to picture. My Baofeng UV-82 fits it perfectly and and it has a standard MOLLE strap & loop snap button closure. The radio fits with a little room (enough to use a dual pin headset and or the detachable belt clip). I am very happy with this product. One other cool thing is that both ends of the bungee are attached to velcro pads that are removable and reversible so this pouch can accommodate much larger radios if I ever upgrade.

Works great holding my Vertex VX-150 radio, I like that the elastic can fit right over the volume/power knob so that it doesn't accidentally get turned on. The fit is a little snug though when you want to have a charger or microphone/speaker plugged into it, I had to remove the rubber cover for the ports while my speaker-mic was plugged into it.Other wise it's really nice.

Nicely fits my Baofeng BF-F8+ with extended battery pack, dual pin mic and belt clip on the back. Exactly what I was looking for. Rugged construction with what looks like solid stitching and strong snaps for the molle loops. Thumb string fully adjustable with velcro patches. Would buy again and definitely to recommend to others.

Quality pouch. Definitely not "made" for baofang like advertised. Could fit a baofang plus almost another one.

Buttons come undone while playing and starts to flop around. Does fit beofang radio well. Only reason I'm giving two stars
