Sleek, chrome-like BRIGHT bathroom light. Downfall is it is too bright. Like really bright. So we put on a dimmer, but at the mid-range of the dimmer, where it would be just right, it buzzes. Trying to figure out how to take the buzz away. Took away one star due to this dimmer issues. Don't want to pay high price for different dimmer but don't want the buzzing either. *** EDIT*** After three tries with three dimmers still looking for a dimmer that does not buzz. Reduced from 4 to 1 star. Help! Who knows which dimmer to use? We've use even the $30 LCD dimmers and still a buzz.***EDIT*** Customer service did respond overnight. Which I appreciate. However, we ONLY used LED - ELV Lutron or Leviton dimmers and NONE worked without the buzz. See the photo of the latest one we tried that still buzzed - that was a $30 dimmer. The look of the light is wonderful. But its very bright - how would my mom get up at night and turn this light on in our guest bath without being blinded? We wanted a more modern and up to date light fixture in our guest bathroom. After searching different big box stores and local lighting shops we decided on this gem. For the price you would be hard pressed to find a better value. It is a breeze to install and the light is beyond bright. I highly recommend a dimmer. The reviews I read kept referring to the light making a slight buzz with a dimmer switch. I attached a picture of the Lutron LED dimmer switch that I purchased for about $19. No buzz and the light is plenty bright enough even at the lowest dimmer setting. The only other advice I would give is that when putting the screws into the connection box that attaches to the bracket start with the 2 screws on the bottom. And it doesn't hurt to have someone hold the light while you attach the light to the bracket. One person can do the job but if you have an extra set of hands around I would use them. Total install from start to finish was about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this light fixture.

Bought this for a bathroom vanity. The fixture is packaged well with foam spacers, the fixture wrapped in plastic, and the parts bag sealed with all of the parts.Installs in about 15 minutes, going at a normal pace. (make sure the power to the existing light is off or shut off at the fuse box before you begin) The wall plate that screws onto the wall has a lip at the top and bottom of the plate. Each lip has 2 screw holes. After mounting that plate on the wall, you connect the wires and then mount the fixture on that plate.The one alteration I had to make was to tweak the mounting plate a bit, so the screw holes on each lip would line up with the screw holes on the fixture. Not a big deal, but notable if anyone tries to install the light and decides to return it due to those screw holes not lining up correctly.After finger tightening the screws, I secured them with a screwdriver. If you mount this in an area with limited space above or below, you'll need a angled screw driver to access the screw heads.Otherwise, once installed and the light is turned on, it's bright. It isn't floodlight bright, but it is bright. If you need good lighting to put makeup on, light up a bathroom, this will do the job.The light came with a pair of white gloves, to help keep the fixture surface blemish free. The metal is a very high polished steel. After installing, just wipe the fingerprints off and it looks really good.The light swivels easily, and stays in place after you move it to the desired angle.The measurements given are pretty accurate.Hopefully the LED strip will have a long life. If it fails, I will update this review.

This light is incredible! Amazing price, super simple installation, and awesome looks! I purchased two of these to replace the two 8-bulb “Hollywood” vanity lights in our two bathrooms prior to starting our bathroom remodel. The difference is shocking! They look so good and put out tons of light. That added fact that they swivel is just the icing on the cake. And to top everything off, they include a pair of white cotton gloves to help prevent fingerprints on the chrome. If I had more bathrooms, I would buy more of these lights.

After ample research, this bathroom vanity light is hands down the most cost effective option when looking for a large/long light. Products with similar dimensions jump in price at least double.The installation was straight forward, the overall construction is great, the light is exceedingly bright, and it also pivots to allow for angle adjustment (though the angle of the light doesn't matter much as the light itself is so bright it fully illuminates my guest bathroom at any angle).My only gripe with the product is that it does not come any other finishes. I would have preferred a satin nickel to match the rest of my home/bathroom hardware, however because it is mounted directly above a large tri-open medicine cabinet, the chrome finish is similar to the shininess of the mirror, which sort of creates a singular unit.

2nd purchase same product.Easy to install, not too heavy so you can do it solo. Had it up and running in around 20 mins. Nice and bright light but not too too bright. Idk why people complain about a plastic housing in the review as my magnetic level would argue otherwise. Came very fast and packaged well.

This is a terrific looking light and a really good price. Obviously the manufacturer knows it needs a dimmer because they recommend which ones to use.I have installed one that was recommended and it takes an unreasonably long time to turn on. Sometimes 5 - 10 seconds. I had read about this problem from other reviewers and I haven't corrected it yet. I have e'mailed the mfg. with no response and filled out a form on their website with no response. We'll see what happens!

the light is white not yellow... the wife and both like the light for makeup and shaving. It does have a nice feel when walking into the bathroom... We have a two sink bathroom where the faucets are aprox 50 inch apart with the light centered (approx.). The side with the wall the light is perfect for both makeup and shaving... The other sink does have a bit of a shadow. This light has never been used for late night usage... as we have other lights for that.Purchased another 48 inch and 36 in lights for our other bathrooms... 36 in light is bright for our downstairs bathroom... the other 48 inch went into the guest bathroom... this bathroom has a motion detection light that is used when my mother comes overnight. otherwise I would need to rethink the 48 inch light.me and my wife put them up quick and relatively easy.

Bathroom LED vanity light was installed above our two sink vanity. Met our 48" length requirement to cover the length of the 48" mirror. It is bright and lights up the whole bathroom which we wanted. It sure wakes you up in the morning.
