XOAR DJI Inspire 2 Carbon Fiber Folding Propellers 1550 CW CCW (2 Pairs). 15 Inch 2 Blade Premium CF Foldable Props for Inspire 2

Arrived on time and it was exactly what I wanted.

Like many people, the stock propellers on my Inspire 2 did not fit well, largely because of the way they attach. There was a slight vibration that kept my videos from being "sharp" when I was using a zoom lens. I tried a few hacks on the original props to make them work better. The hacks worked pretty good but were inconvenient. I came across these folding props while looking for some new stock props and decided to give them a try. They fit on the motors much better than the stock props and don't have any vibration. The props are a little quieter than the stock props too.

Came out of the box assembled far too tightly. No movement whatsoever of the props until the screws were loosened a bit. Even then, I was worried about them being either too lose or too tight that the props wouldn't unfurl properly. Things went from bad to worse from there. Maybe I was just unlucky and and got a defective or unbalanced pair, but when I did a ground power up to test before flying, the Inspire started shaking violently, enough that the tips of the props were striking the drone, and the app started throwing out propellor errors. I killed the power, took them off and returned them. Buy with caution.Update: Thinking maybe I just was unlucky enough to get a defective set, I decided to take a chance and return them and get another set. The new set I received were 1345 props for the Inspire 1. The box was factory sealed and clearly labeled that they were 1550 Inspire 2 props but it was Inspire 1 props packed inside. Not only poor quality control during manufacturing it would seem, but poor quality control during packing!

Not sure why one of the reviews say not good instructions. Pretty much common sense…remove two screws…install 2 screws…install clockwise blades on clockwise motors…install counter clockwise blades on counter clockwise motors. Also a plus not shown in pictures is each blade comes with a very nice cover to keep them protected when storing. Beautiful fit, finish and flys amazing. I think the only thing that could have made the kit perfect was if it included a little tube of loctite.

I hesitated for the longest time because didn't want to put my I2 (or warranty / refresh)at risk in any way. As the stock blades wore down, so did my resolve. I spent a good amount of hours reading Pilot reviews online and finally decided to go with Xoar. They're a dream. An absolute dream to fly with. Not much of a difference in speed or max flight time, but mark my words you WILL FEEL a significant difference in responsiveness. The increased handling makes you feel like this is how the I2 was supposed to feel. Two things to note: the instructions give the impression that you need a spacer -- I confirmed with the company you do NOT need one. Second, use locktite on the main screws and double check them before every flight. Happy flying!

There are no instructions on how to install. It says “see photo” but the photo gives no information. I checked XOAR’s website, they have video tutorial for other props but not the folding props which have a lot more parts. Would be helpful if instructions were included or a link was readily available.

Great upgrade to the plastic props. With some adjustments will fit into the inspire 2 case.
