E392 mobile broadband modem
The Huawei E392u-12 was easy to set up on Windows. The software installed on Windows gives good diagnostic capabilities. The setup with Ubuntu Linux required the configuration of usbmodeswitch software. This works well with USB2 ports - however I so far have not got this to mode switch for USB3 ports. 4G has been tested in London - achieved 20MB download speed. Also tested in Reading achieving 10MG download speed inside building. I have also used this product with the Dovado Tiny router + this works ok.

i got what was advertised.
The item I got was Saudi Arabian, in perfect condition, and unlocked as stated. It works perfectly from my Draytek Vigor router, which was the reason I bought it. Im using on Three, and the speed is poor - 4 to 6 meg and 40-50% signal, however I cant compare with other 4g kit on three as I don't have any. I will try it on EE as my mate gets 50meg speeds on his G4 iPhone from my location with EE.I tried it on my laptop, well, just because I could, and it does not connect. I've configured the bundled QuickNet software for three, but clearly im doing something wrong. However, I don't have the inclination to sort it and i'll only be using it via the Draytek router anyway, so I am not bothered. Also to note, the seller I used (Newsat Store) shipped the item the same day, and I got it well packaged and signed for the very next morning. Thanks.

Have used and really like Huawei 5776 purchased from other
We purchased this item to act as a standby cellular back up to our broadband. It has never worked even though we have gone as far to changing the SIM contract. Although it connects to wifi it wont connect to 3G/4G signal when wifi is turned off. Have tried calling Eternal but no reply. Little in the way of product support on the Huawei website. Have used and really like Huawei 5776 purchased from other suppliers

Not a bad 4G /UTMS USB stick, a bit large (almost twice the width of those old 3G USB sticks).....
Not a bad 4G /UTMS USB stick, a bit large (almost twice the width of those old 3G USB sticks) so expect it to prevent usage of any close adjacent USB port.I tested it on Windows 8.1 with USB 3.0 and the SFC Quicknet software on the 4G stick installed ok (I think its some middle eastern data provider). The stick as a Saudi Arabian brand but also with English instructions, I just created a profile and the stick ran at 4G (or HSPA+). I tested it with Movistar 4G in Madrid and Vodafone UK 4G in London and all was ok. One thing to note is that this stick takes a large SIM card not micro or nano so make sure you have an adapter for normal SIM size handy. I like the black finish on it but I didn't like the cap much but this 'can' be removed. Overall good but not amazing.

Easy to use
Easy to use and very fast connecting. I use this in Portugal for my broadband requirements and get very good speeds in a normally poor area using Optimus. I also use it plugged into a TP Link 3G/4G router and it gives a great wifi service around the house. Overall very happy. I also know I can change provider any time I choose to get the best deal as the unit is unlocked.

Great 4G stick
Works great. Internet on the train, in fact, internet anywhere you can get a 4G signal. Perfect.

Sold as "brand new & sealed" but came with hacked firmware
Bought this product from Eternal Communications as new, but the item I received had firmware with a modem driver hacked by Kamlesh Kumer. This can't be new (I doubt Huawei would distribute hacked firmware), and I can't trust the setup didn't install some malware together with the software and driver.I wouldn't recommend buying from Eternal Communications.
