Tried a cheaper splitter first which had made big spec claims but all I got was a blank screen and no audio. This splitter however worked straight out of the box giving perfect video and excellent surround sound audio.

If you're looking at this you likely already know if you need one or not. It works very well for splitting a 4K 60hz HDMI feed. I use it to route from a GPU and then split to a 4K PC monitor and an Atomos Ninja V. The plug that comes with this is a little cheap so I chose to get a Type M 5v barrel plug to type-A USB cable (I use the StarTech one from Amazon) so that I can power the splitter from a nearby USB hub. This frees up a plug socket for higher power draw devices.

I got this to replace a splitter that literally burnt out on me. The last one needed me to mess around switching it on and of pulling out cables to work. When I plugged this one in it just worked no messing around. Its not as big as I thought it would be either so fits nicely with everything else.

Worked OK for 3 weeks then no input detected. Expensive item that didn't last long. Very disappointing

I had bought an HDMI to VGA Adapter from StarTech, and now I bought a HDMI 1 In 2 Out from them. The item quality feels like premium, and it includes 4 different power outlets adapters to adequate any region where power outlets are different. Feels like the investment is worth it and I am looking forward to use it at its most!

This item, though small, is quite hefty and does the job it says it will.

Impeccable : capture du signal TV VERS PC

J'ai acheté ce splitter pour envoyer le signal à la fois vers un écran PC et un vidéoprojecteur. Le signal vidéo provient d'un switch HDMI Startech (VS421HD20) qui fonctionne impeccablement et sur lequel sont branchés :- Un PC (Windows 7 - Core i7 - AMD Radeon RX580)- Une Xbox One- Une Apple TV 4K- Freebox PlayerA ma grande surprise seuls les signaux de la Xbox One et du Freebox Player sont remarquablement bien splités et simultanément vers l'écran et le vidéoprojecteur.Pour le PC cela ne fonctionne pas ou très mal (vers l'écran PC et/ou le videoprojecteur) : je suis obligé de débrancher - rebrancher le cable HDMI du switch vers le splitter ou bien le cable HDMI du PC vers le switch pour enfin avoir l'image à l'écran. Cela ne me convient absolument pas car l'idée était bien de ne pas manipuler les connectiques. Autre 'astuce" cela pouvait fonctionner en switchant d'une source éteinte (ex : Xbox éteinte) et de revenir sur le switch PC. Mais cela n'est pas systématique. Sans ces tentatives de manipulations l'écran reste fatalement noir ou vert ...Concernant l'Apple TV 4 K , rien à faire cela ne fonctionne pas. Même en débranchant - rebranchant les cables. Rien à faire. L'écran reste noir puis se met à scintiller vivement en gris.Je me suis permis de tester également l'affichage d'une petite box TV android Bqeel Y5. Rien à faire également. Le seul affichage qui apparait est celui de l'image de présentation "Bqeel" à l'allumage puis l'image s'arrête.Je précise que le switch seul fonctionne à merveille avec tous les appareils. Je précise également qu'en branchant le PC ou l'Apple TV 4K ou la box android TV Bqeel directement sur le splitter en bypassant le switch, le problème persiste inéxorablement.Si le support startech peut m'aider ce serait super ...
