I work on aircraft ground service equipment. I received a complaint from one of our customers claiming that the lights on one of their tow vehicles were not bright enough to safely push back aircraft at night.The lights that were previously on the vehicle were just regular driving or fog lights that you could find at any auto parts store. I checked with the manufacturer of the vehicle and the original replacement is actually some incandescent plow lights, of which they wanted $275 for, so I decided to explore some cheaper and better options.I came across these lights and had a look at the reviews, I ordered them not expecting much, but I was happy that they were half the cost of the original replacement headlights.When the lights arrived, I was surprised by the build the quality of them. The back of the lights is all metal and it feels quite strong for what it is. It comes with no wiring harness, only the wires coming out of the back of the lights and a connector on the end of it. I ended up cutting these connectors off and just splicing them in normally.When I powered up the lights for the first time, I was completely blown away. They are so bright that I actually had to aim them down a bit so as to not blind other airport vehicles or aircraft. I was able to see them during the day as well as in my well lit up shop.Needless to say, at night, they are much more than bright enough to safely handle the towing of aircraft.Unfortunately I do not know right now how these lights will hold up to the elements. I will be checking in on them from time to time to make sure that they are not leaking and no moisture has gotten into them. I will update my review accordingly.For now, I am extremely impressed with these lights and I will definitely be ordering more of them shall I need to replace headlights again.

The Lights themselves are pretty nice looking and bright, however the brackets are extremely cheap, mine were bent right out of the box, it too a lot of time to bend the brackets back into the proper shape and angle again. Also the holes in the one bracket were drill incorrect and I had to modify it for the bolts to fit

Bought the pair but 1 seemed to had been used, cosmetic damages, treads for the morning screws damaged, logo distorted haven't installed it yet hope it works.

The media could not be loaded.  Received these today in a trashed amazon box, which could be a carrier issue, however the lights were packed horribly with the hardware jangling all around inside. I imagine the lights and hardware were bashing up against each other the entire delivery. Also, there was missing hardware (granted just lock washers), which either weren’t included or lost through a big tear in the box. Either way, the hardware wasn’t secured in a bag. Lastly, the mounting brackets don’t fit properly onto the lights. The bracket attaches to the light by four bolts, two bolts belonging to each side. Two bolts to secure the bracket onto the light, and two more for the angle adjustment. With the two bolts securing the bracket to the light in place, the other two for the angle adjustment don’t line up. I can’t get the other bolts in without doing custom drilling. I’ve looked at the stock photos for reference and if I’m doing this wrong it’s completely beyond me. There’s bolts and insert holes, it should work as easy as that but it doesn’t. Usually the brackets come pre-mounted to the lights, and since these weren’t I’m led to believe there’s an issue.I have to add that I purchased these used in “very good condition,” which they perceivably are (or were prior to shipping), however if I can’t get some info on this bracket issue I’ll most likely return them. They seem like nice lights and I’d love to get this figured out and power them up.I filmed the unboxing process which I’ll add to the “unboxing” section.

I bought these particular lights because the dimensions and lumen output was what I was looking for at the time. I have bought many off shore lights from many different providers over the years and I was hoping for something a bit more in quality considering the dollars I paid. When I assembled these lights, the brackets did not fit to the body, and two of the threaded mounting holes were angled. Luckily I have a well equipped shop where I could modify these items and make them work.I think the distributor is trying to make a brand following. Hope they are using a better quality off shore fixture now. No value for the money here.
