This is not only cool to look at in general - it's a great educational tool - Each subject is caricatured by multiple artists in their own style - and as a nice bonus there are enough reference pics so you can try drawing the subject yourself as you read along...the individual workflow for each artist is covered in some detail (but the book is mostly drawings)..The styles range from realistic to extremely abstract - most are in color, and the education/reference from that alone is worth the price of the book - I can work out how to color an eye, but if I wanted to see tons of crazy alternatives, they are in there...I have never seen so much uniqueness compiled into a single book :)I'll be browsing through this book for a long time, and probably not loaning it out to anyone...some books are like that..

This just an incredible book. The artwork is amazing. Very interesting to read bout the different approaches to caricature. Live caricature is such a unique experience and the people that do it are amazing. Kind of funny that the author’s name is barely visible on the front cover. Sort of speaks or the nature of the caricature artist. Job well done Manny!

I’ve been doing caricatures off and on for the last 10 years and this book is chalk full of new techniques that have help me take the art to the much needed next level!

Manny, I’m so glad you embarked on this journey of making this book happen. This is a unique book in that it features so many different styles of Caricature for each face! Getting to see and study these different points-of-view are priceless. So, thanks for orchestrating all these neurotically genius artists into one place. That in itself is a miracle.I can’t emphasize enough the wealth of knowledge and inspiration that are in the full color pages of this book. Each face is given a featured artist which focuses on his/her process...but then flipping past that you get 10 or more artist’s perspective on that same face.Go buy this book already even if just for the laughs!
