Fast Shipping and Works great
My wife uses our Wii just about every day. She loves doing the just dance routines. We tend to go through the optical drives every couple of years and it's great to be able to buy a replacement drive instead of having to replace the entire console.It's fairly easy to install and I had no problems with the new drive. Started right up and I expect that we will get a least a couple of more years out of the Wii.

Yeah my Wii works again!
My Wii stopped working over two years ago and sat in a box. My husband said he saw on you tube how to replace the board and thought he could do it. This worked like a charm! Watch the you tube video for specific instructions and you can fix your tired old Wii.

A Considerable Downgrade
Wanted to use this drive to replace the old one in my old Wii (RVL-001 model.) it was alright to install, but the read speed is considerable slower. The biggest issue though, is that it can’t even read GameCube discs! This is not what I expected at all and I am quite disappointed, especially after spending $30 for it. I will see if I can get a return and refund shortly after I spend another hour on Wii surgery.

Would buy again in a heartbeat
It maybe took 15 minutes to do and was exactly the repair we needed. It was identical to the one we removed in everyway except the number on it. My son is back to playing his game and watching movies and I am a happy mom! Be sure you get the proper triangle screwdriver for the repair. Makes it easy as pie.

Got the Wii back in business
Had to order special screwdriver which should of been in purchase. Purchase included a Phillips head screwdriver.

Doesn't read duel layer disks
I got this specifically to play Smash Bros on my Wii, but it wouldn't read the disk. I tried twice from this seller, and neither worked. They ran normal games fine though.
