Incredible value for money
Bought from JB INTL LTD, received in just about 24 hours after ordering via Royal Mail 24 hour tracked. Box was unsealed, phone seems untouched however, must have been to include the UK charger, and some earphones that don't normally come with this. The phone itself is an absolute steal for the price, coming with the snapdragon 730 SoC and a 4000mAh battery, it's incredibly smooth, fast, and lasts a very long time, about 10 hours or more of screen on time depending on what you're doing. For games, the performance is amazing, the phone comes with an app that boosts the performance of the phone while you're playing them (it's in the security app(?)) which works incredibly well, should easily push 60fps in most games and 30fps in the most demanding games available. The cameras produce some very nice shots, not the best of the best but it's up there, the inclusion of a wide-angle lens is awesome, and if you want to take it to another level, there are gcam ports you can install and mess around with. But the absolute BEST thing about this phone is the lack of a notch, the selfie camera is a little mechanism that pops up out of the top of the phone, meaning there's no little bumps or holes in the screen, and the bezels are super thin, this thing is almost entirely screen which looks so good. Also, there is a headphone jack, I don't know why this is a thing that needs to be mentioned nowadays but it's there. Note that it comes with MIUI installed and not stock android, personally I like it but it does come with a fair amount of useless bloat apps, head over to the Xiaomi subreddit to find out how to remove the ones you don't want, there is a guide on the wiki there.

This is an amazing phone for money, I can't recommend it enough.
This is an amazing phone for money, I can't recommend it enough. I previously had a Razerphone 1, despite the Mi 9t being half the price, I can't find anything I would consider a downgrade in everyday use. Perhaps the speakers, and the 60hz screen, But that was the strengths of the RF1. but the Mi 9t more than makes up for that it with many features that make it an upgrade for me. -The screen is fantastic, especially if like me you want to avoid a notch by any means necessary. Super bright and great quality. The in-screen fingerprint reader is also a nice to have. -The phone performance seems no worse than the Razerphone (which had a snapdragon 845 + 8GB of Ram), from an anecdotal point of view. -The build quality really impressive, this does not feel like a cheap phone in your hand. -The camera seems to do a decent enough job, although I'm not much of a photographer. -Great battery life (helped by the mid-tier CPU and big battery) As far as I can tell, the only thing you really give up on this phone when compared to much more expensive flagships is an IP rating and wireless charging. One point of note is that I wasn't a fan of the Mi UI, not having an app tray makes it feel like a messy iPhone. This was fixed by installing Nova launcher from the Play Store!

Amazing device
This thing is amazing for the price build quality is top display is amazing no stupid notch, blazing fast everything at this price point you won't find a better phone for less than 280 than this , battery life is very good Love the carbon effect pop up camera is cool , Not much to complain about , not a big fan of miui launcher so that was replaced with pixel launcher and feels much better I do like the amount of customisation in miui dark mode etc , case included as well although a little on slippy side , a little on heavy side but that's expected with all glass back phones , I've got a OnePlus 7 pro and other than the 90hz display and bit better CPU you wouldn't notice much difference in day to day use at half the price you really can't go wrong , Hats of to seller it came next day even though was down for 2 day delivery , and with android 10 miui 11 only few days away it's only going to get better , also has a good android development following custom ROMs etc un lockable bootloader , no more Huawei or honor for me Xiaomi all the way they say it's the Poco F1 replacement and it definitely is build wise so much premium for such a little £££

Best value phone, with all the bells and whistles of a flagship phone.
A fabulous phone / camera for very little cost. Cannot rate the fingerprint reader or use of NFC, as yet to use. Typical daily use of phone usually leaves me 50% battery. My only concern, as previously mentioned by other users, is that all uploaded software from MI requires acceptance of their terms, but these arent available to read before accepting, so I use alternative software, which allows me to check policies and terms before using! There are options available to the more tec savvy, to delete the MI apps, my only concern is whether deleting these apps will reduce the performance of the phone. The phone in comparison to some others of comparible size is quite weighty. But since using it, I have got used to double the weight. Ideally the back cover could be made lighter, ( as if you choose to use an additional external cover to save damage to the phone, and to aid use without risk of it slipping out of your hand) you'll no longer be able to see the fancy colouration. Finally one concern, this phone has a pop up selfie camera, reducing the need for the notch in the screen. Is it really that important, to lose the notch? I'm not sure, but it does mean that you have to be extra careful about keeping the phone away from dust / debris, to ensure the selfie camera doesn't bind. Ok if you don't take selfies, but with new technology enabling face recognition, instead of passwords or using the fingerprint reader, its something to be aware of, should the motor fail.

Looks nice, feels nice
Xiaomi phones are generally good for what they cost, currently poco f1 costs the same but is a bit better, however mi a2 looks nice, the 128GB version has 6GB of RAM so it is faster than 32 and 64GB versions. comes with USB-C to headphone jack adapter and a simple case (wish they included that in description), also charger. Anyways if you do not play high quality games this is almost a perfect phone, main drawback being the low capacity battery, everything else feels premium

Love it - worth every penny
I've had this now since January 20, so 5 months to try it out and give a review. Absolutely love it. The build quality for the money is amazing. It's quick, buttery smooth and feels as good quality as most high end android phones. Updates are regular, WiFi, Bluetooth, coverage, etc all work as they should. MIUI close to stock - only thing I'm not too keen on is the dialler but it's not a deal breaker. Based on this buy, I wouldn't hesitate to get another Xiaomi phone.

Dreadful battery life
Well, what a shame. I really want to like this phone. It's a decent all around handset for the price that easily competes with handsets 4 times the price in most areas. However, the battery life on this thing is absolutely dreadful. It drops by tangible percentage points between unplugging, being totally unused in a pocket within an hour or so. After much googling on the issue it turns out not much can be done about it and that it perhaps is to do with the fingerprint scanner constantly looking for input? I mean if that really is the case then that is a true jumping the shark moment - I don't even want or use the fingerprint scanner on a phone!!

Excellent phone for the price
Very good phone for the price. Camera is not the best but still very good. I bought it for my son to replace a broken Samsung A9 and the quality is just as good. Very nice features but not as rich as Samsung but essentially all android features are available. Battery life is very very good. I will highly recommend it.
