Short Pixie Layered Glueless Synthetic Wig for Women Black Daily Cosplay

I am new to the world of wigs and wanted to try one without making a big investment. I love the way this wig looks when styled similar to what's shown on the model. This one was quite affordable and seemed like a nice starter piece. When I got it though, it looked more like the wig on the mannequin in the picture - a little chunky, clumpy, and frumpy. However, I dont think its meant to be worn right out of the box. I plan to use my hot curlers, curling wand and hair spray to try to get it to look more like the model's style - which is a fantastic look. In general though the cap is a good fit, the hair density is thick and good, the color is attractive, and in general it appears to be well made. The cap is stretchy and it has a small comb and internal adjustable bands to help fit and secure it. I'm off to a new wig adventure!

You get what you pay for! I kept seeing ladies on the hair loss support sight say they had luck with some inexpensive wigs on Amazon so I thought I would give it a try. It’s a good thing it was inexpensive because it was a total wast of money. First of all the style is nothing like what is pictured. Second the center of the crown and all the permeates is in the middle of the top of the wig. Right behind the front of the wig. It’s not located at the crown where it should be. Third the hair is attached around the cap about 1/4 of an inch back from the edge. It does not go up to the edge so the edge of the cap shows. These pictures were after I worked and worked for about 45 minutes just to get it presentable. The layering in the cut shown does not exist. The crown is way longer than what is shown so you cannot achieve a look even close to what is pictured. Last the picture of the woman that is used is a person with real hair. That isn’t a wig. I’ve watched videos of how she cuts her hair. This was a total sham. I’m sorry I fell for it. Hopefully this review will save someone else their money.

This wig is pretty, but it looks nothing like the picture. Even though I have a relatively small head, the hair was shorter than in the pictures. It was also a MUCH darker gray, with a few lighter areas and streaks. That said, I kind of like it, anyway, and I am planning to wear it outside the house. I may update after I have worn and styled it more.

Definitely for white women. The quality was a pleasant surprise. Easy to style, can be styled with just your hands and I recommend it to maintain the integrity of the hair. Brushing can weaken the hair and cause it to loosen and fall out as with any wig. Though it says heat resistant DO NOT APPLY A CURLING IRON OR A BLOW DRYER TO THE WIG. ALLOW TO DRY NATURALLY. It is best to use dry shampoo on your wig rather than shampoo and water. Also be sure to keep your wig on a styrofoam head and covered so dust and odors will not settle on or into it. I’m speaking from experience and knowledge as a license cosmetology instructor in the state of Texas. I would recommend this wig for anyone. Chemo patients, ladies that are thinning due to thyroid issues, For ladies that just wanna try short hair. This is an excellent wig. For proper placement if it’s your first time. On the front there is a comb. Be sure to insert the comb into your hairline if you have one or where your hairline would be. Under your stocking cap. Using a Bobby pin pin down one on each side. Next there are small flap on either side of the wig by the ears. These flaps should be pulled towards the front of your ears and pin down also to your stocking cap. If you are proceeding correctly your wig should begin to feel snug and secure. Next you’ll want to pull down on the back of the wig to cover your hairline and stocking cap. Once you’ve completed that I personally like to take a pin and secure one behind each ear and two at the back of my neck crossing over each other. I like my wigs very secure. Simply because I don’t want to be caught out in public flipping my wig so to say. lol 😂 I hope this has helped someone out there decide to buy the wig and give it a go or at least how to secure a wig.

A little bit about me and my hair: I've sported pixie cuts most of my adult life. I don't like having long hair because it's miserably hot and humid most of the year in my neck of the woods. This year, I've been keeping it buzzed down and bleached for fun and to stay cooler. I usually have a 3 inch pixie by the time cold weather arrives, but I've been loving how fast I can get out the door with a buzz cut, so I decided it was time to rediscover wigs. I've got about 10 years of styling and cutting wigs for conventions under my belt, so I went into this knowing that an Amazon wig would need some fine tuning at the very least. (At worst, in returning it and trying something else!) - First of all, I ordered this by accident. I meant to get a slight different style from a different seller, but this one worked out! It has adjustable elastic in the back and one comb clip in the front, neither of which hurt my head. - The wig is very small. I have a small noggin, as in I wear XS hats from Lack of Color, and this is still a bit tight when I don't even have the hooks on the elastic secured to any loops. This will definitely be an issue for a lot of people. - The hair does look real, being black while indoors and a very deep rich brown color with a hint of red tones in the sun. - It's cut pretty decently, but I'm probably going to trim the fringe a little and thin out the neckline just a tad. - When I have this on my wig stand, I can see how the lighter colored wigs wouldn't pass for being thick enough. It makes me hesitant to get a blonde wig from this vendor. My one real complaint is with the silicone scalp parting. I'm glad it's there, I didn't expect it... but the tufts of hair they pulled through it are so thick that it wouldn't look natural on anyone! I'm not too worried about it, but I'll definitely see if I can make it look less artificial eventually.

Only gave two stars because it was way too light and it doesn’t look blonde. It looks like it’s a grayish white color which makes me look old. The cap itself is extremely big, which makes it bunch up at the top no matter how far I’ll pull it down as far as curling it with a flat iron I tried to give it a little bit of bump a little bit of volume, but the hair went completely limp as of now I’m currently trying to work with it. I just hate it so like I may send it back as well. The quality of the hair looks OK. It doesn’t look like it’s wig

This wig is incredible value for the money! It came VERY quickly, faster than predicted, and much better than construction than expected, actually looks very natural. Quality is so much better than a costume wig, which I have purchased before? Color is great, some ash blonde, yellow blonde with undertone of light brown, but ash is the main color. Even if you have dark brown hair, which I do, the length covers the brown which may poke out at nape of neck or sides of face, which makes it look very natural and modern. Be sure to wear the hairnet which is provided, and perhaps invest in a headband designed for wigs to stop it slipping up when wearing out and about. However you can use Bobbie pins to clip wig to hairnet and this will help to keep wig in place.Wig hairstyle is a tousled look, and there’s is even room to slip glasses on over ears even with wig ear tabs. Hair is quite long on sides and top, at least 4 inches, and yes, shaking it out before putting on for first time does help to “fluff” the wig out, and invest in a hair pic or a wide-tooth comb to work with styling. As far as heat from wearing wig, it is no hotter than normal for wearing And it is quite lightweight on head. Again very surprised and delighted with the quality and fit, would love to order in other colors but they were not available. Very natural looking and a fun wear, especially for those bad hair days, and even for when you want a fun lift even whenyou’re having a good hair day. Friends won’t even believe it’s a wig. Don’t know how long will last, but based on its construction, and you r not wearing every day and not putting product on it, it should last quite a good amount of time

It is good, looks exactly like in all the photos with the exception of the main one - a woman with real live hair. You will never achieve this effect with this wig. Yet I like it.
