Great for crafting. Too bad I scratched with a ceramic blade. I didn't know, my bad. Other than that is really good.

This is a very nice glass mat. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to use it as yet. Looking forward to using it.

I love my glass mat! I needed to replace my self-healing cutting mat (which was good for quilting but not for paper crafting). I took a chance that this glass mat would be better and I am so pleased. I do use the measurements to check dimensions, but the most useful feature is the smooth glass surface. When I make cards I am applying glue tape to all the edges, which can be tedious. The glass mat allows me to roll out a strip of tape, then smoothly pivot the card 45 degrees and do the next side, and continue on till all four sides are taped. It is a small thing, but when you multiply the action by hundreds of times it makes a huge difference in effort. I ended up buying the light pad and the score board and all three work beautifully together. Cutterpillar has a convert!

I find this is a nice size glass mat for my desk. I also find it easier to use this (glass) for blending inks on my art projects.
