KOSS 183773 UR29 Full-Size Collapsible Over-Ear Headphones

These headphones are VERY comfortable. The sound is good as far as I am concerned (I'm not one of those audio experts that splits hairs in half on the quality of the sound).The inline volume control has a nice, sturdy feeling to it and works great. The cord is twice as thick as my more than 4 times the cost, Seinnheisurs headphones. The extra long length of the cord comes in very handy, plus the cords healthy diameter in its circumference is reassuring that these babies will last for a LONG time.Truly a great product. Low price. Durable. Comfortable (more so than my Seinnheisurs). Sound quality (not quite as good as my Seinnheisurs, but definitely good enough for me).I'm tempted to buy me another pair and store them away in the event that they quit making this product. A++++I always thought Koss was a cheap brand not worth buying. I 'demand' the more expensive brands (see Seinnheisurs above, and Dell, Sony, Panasonic, etc). This pair of Koss headphones stand up fine compared to those over-priced 'big names'.Hey just writting this review has talked me into purchasing a second pair!If you are looking for a low priced, yet VERY comfortable pair of headphones that sound fine, then I would look into buying these Koss headphones. Great stuff!PS: I don't mess any with the 'folding' part of them. Seems to be unnecessary wear on tear on the. Again, padding galore equals the MOST comfortable set ofhead phones and I have had have had many.Buy today, I do not think you will be disappointed (as I was in another brand new pair of a different brand that I received that same day as I got these...)

The sound quality of the Koss UR29 headphones is really great; I did a "Whoa!" after putting them on compared to what I have been listening to (JVC headphones that cost about $10 less). Nice crisp sound. I'm not a 'bass freak' so I have not tested how 'ow they can go. :)My primary 'need' was to find more comfortable headphones while on my computer--and these are, but they are also a bit heavier than I expected them to be. I sometimes use wireless Sennheiser's while watching TV and the Koss headphones feel heavier on my head even though the Sennheiser's have rechargeable batteries in them. Huh!The inline volume control moves about an inch smoothly from min to max, but right now I an not using it; I plug the phones into my little desktop speakers. But, today the right speaker had been cutting out so that may not be for much longer. but the difference in sound quality is night & day so I may just use the phones all the time and skip getting replacement speakers.

Features , sound quality and price make it a good value product.

I bought this set after reading multiple reviews about how comfortable they were and how the sound was great. Well folks, these are $20 headphones and nothing more. They are designed for a small head, probably a child or adolescent as they are only wearable for short periods by an adult with an average or above average size head. The headband is small and the adjustment range is limited. The sound is on par with low price audio headphones, but better than most gaming headsets. The sound is somewhat flat and thins out on top. However, if your experience has been gaming headsets, this is a definite step up all the way around, and is probably why it gets good reviews by what are probably kids getting their first audio headset.Now the positive: The earcups are full size and even fit over my elephant ears. The cable,while not removable, is robust and the in-line volume control is positive and appreciated. The passive sound reduction is actually very good and the build quality is like a Toyota, well done but uninspiring, and certainly destined to withstand average abuse. These would be a good knock-around set for someone with a smaller head looking for computer headphones to listen to videos.

This is the 4th one of these headphones I've purchased. The 1st three I purchased elsewhere. I don't know what I'll do if Koss stops making these. ;-)I use these to watch my TV at night so I don't disturb my husband. I usually fall asleep wearing them, so the potential for rough handling is pretty certain. Eventually, after a few years of this kind of treatment, I manage to break them -- and always replace them with the exact same product.Pros:- Extremely comfortable. Fit nicely over the ears. Block outside noise.- Excellent stereo sound quality.- Inline volume control.Cons:- Not Prime eligible. Shipping has always taken at least a week to arrive, sometimes longer (I've ordered this product once from Amazon and 3x from another source).I like these so much I ordered this pair for my husband to use when he wants to watch his TV at 3 a.m. and not wake me up, and he loves them as much as I do.

In an effort to replace headphones which I wore out and can no longer find, I settled on these based on the reviews. Having an in-line volume adjustment was a must-have feature. Regretfully my excitement of receiving them was quickly erased upon first use. They are comfortable to wear but strongly lack any bass response. And without good bass, the reproduction coming through sound very tinny. These headphones are exclusively used on my computer (movies, music, YouTube) and improving the bass is really not an option. Ultimately they are being returned and the search continues for another pair.

My 13 year old goes through headphone like Kleenex. Skull Candy to yes even Beats they do not last. Bought these for an Easter present unsure he would like them without the trendy name but he loves them! He appreciates great sound and comfort and this offers both. He likes them as much as his father's Bose. Only drawback is the 8 ft chord. In convenient for walking to and from school but so far it is worth it for my son. For the price and quality they can't they be beat.

This is my second pair of these KOSS UR-29 headphones . Love everything about them. I use them to listen to music on my Laptop. IMHO, great headphones for the price. Two thumbs way up!!!
