It's awesome

Alright so this is one of my favorite Gundams from the generations so when i saw the 1/144 scale was over 300 dollars i was really turned off. But then i found this nice model for about 30 bucks, and much more reasonable price for a casual model builder like myself. So to the model itself, it is really well built after its together it will definatly stay that way and posing is a breeze. for its limited movement its capable of all its movie poses such as full missile barrage, hyper mega cannon, and the famous sword destroyer beam saber. Very well built kit, you do have to file the nubs down a bit on this kit because everything fits together so snugly. Although there are some draw backs... because i am a causal model builder i went into this with the same attitude that i would with a typical High Grade 1/144 model kit and for the most part it went normal about an hour to build minus detailing. But unfortunately like a lot of these old kits its got a lot of color issues. Such as Almost all of the plates are white, and yes the white does match the correct color to the actual suit but with even the inside of the missile pods and the beam saber white, this model is defiantly going to need alot of paint work. And the most hated thing about this kit in my opinion, is... the tiny gundam. i mean i love the idea of a affordable Dendrobuim but the gundam stamen that comes with this as well as a baddy suit for him to fight, is sooooooo small a little bigger than a quarter. and it will not clip together and will require glue and patience because getting these tiny parts together and glued will take you longer than building the rest of the actual kit and will constantly frustrate you with its size while trying to move and detail it. Ok so in closing this is a good kit, i mean come on true fans of the stamen want this kit, and not many of us are willing to pay the 300+ price tag for it. And in my opinion this is a great substitute. Having it sit on my desk it so cool and reminds me of all the cools scenes from the anime being that it can do all of the poses, but be warry this kit it still rather large for 1/550 so about a textbook size space is required, mostly it's its giant cannon sticking out. The only warning i will give to potential buyers not trying to scare you, but if you hate painting or are really not expiernced this my not be the kit for you as alot of details as well the gundam and the enemy suit require ALOT of detailing and painting as there are all white out of the box, the only of thing that may need painting are the beam saber to pink and the inside of the missile tubs to gray. So if you are a little experienced this may be that suit to challenge you to become a better painter and test your skills, but not in the bad way. So Final thoughts, HATE tiny models of the Mobile suits, and painting restriction.. LOVE the possibility and detail on this kit matching its anime counter part as well the most important of all PRICE!!!!! its 30 dollars?!?! thats amazing and the only thing shy of the giant 1/144 version of this kit breaking your bank. So if you love the model or are looking for something to test your painting and detailing chops, pick this kit up and i promise you that you will enjoy it :)

Pretty cool, but this is one snap-together model that would really need a little paint to look good. The colors on this are extremely basic. Even the beam sabers are grey.

This kit definitely needs a lot of painting and panel lining to come alive. You might need a bit of glue as well, as unlike other gundam kits the 1/550 dendrobium has very loose parts that attach to the main body.

bellissimo. completamente da personalizzare!consiglio fortemente di colorare prima dell'assemblaggio, sia con le pen marker che con i colori ad acrilico/smalto per imprimere bene la tonalità desiderata (come in foto, con un grigio metallico brillante e altri colori)le dimensioni sono in scala 1/550 (grossomodo due pugn). consigliato solo a chi ha esperienze passate con HG e model kit di assemblaggio e (dato il suo ottimo prezzo, appena 19 euro) per chi vuole iniziare a dipingere gunpla!e consiglio di prendere con amazon prime, perché da terzi venditori c'è il rischio che i corrieri TNT vi perdano il pacco (infatti quando ho visto amazon rimetterlo in vendita come disponibile nel loro magazzino, ho deciso di prenderlo!)

Ein bisschen Enttäuschungen finde ich. Normalerweise ist gunpla farbig. Aber dieser Bausatz ist einfarbig, bzw total weiß. Es muß nach eigenen Wunsch lackiert werden.
