What size water bottles does this hold?

The cages are standard bicycle specific bottle cages. Bicycle bottles are commonly available in 12-24 oz. Same diameter, only taller or shorter. Do not use sports bottles or metal bottles. They will break the cage. Take your bike and behind saddle rack to your local bike shop. Buy a couple good cycling specific bottles and ask them to install the rack. They will probabaly do it for free. I like the insulated POLAR bottles.

Are there replacement seat railing brackets that I can purchase? Apparent both the screws on one side fell out and I lost one of the brackets.

How well does it do with trails, bumps, and gravely roads?

This is not perfect, unfortunately. I lost my bottle a couple of times when hitting big bumps on the road.
