I wasn't too sure in the beginning but once I watched the install video and installed it, it was one of the easiest mods I did to my Tacoma and it's like driving a whole new truck highly recommended from beginners to experienced drivers it has everything you want in a tuner. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I Installed the pedal commander last week and it was a very big improvement over the stock setting. I tried it on all settings, sport plus was way to sensitive I finally went with city mode witch works good for me.

What an improvement this product has made for my 2020 Tacoma truck. It has completely eliminated the throttle lag. I should have purchased this item 4 years ago. I highly recommend it.

I was looking for a little more response from my throttle, and having the truck tuned was a little out of budget/no local tuners. Absolutely works as intended. Couple of things I would have liked to have known before purchasing...1. The Sport and Sport+ mode will cause you to spin out from a dead stop if you don't have decent tires. City -2 is plenty to remove throttle lag from a dead stop and give your vehicle a sportier feel (at least in a 21 Tacoma Sport).2. This device does not differentiate between drive and reverse. You will rocket backwards out of a parking spot if you are not careful. This in particular keeps me out of sport mode, and why I leave a 4 instead of 5 star review.

Mejoró muchísimo la aceleración

Used in my 2015 Tacoma for about 8 months and it was not only a pain to install but also put my engine into limp mode after it threw a check engine light and hijacked my traction control when I was waiting at a red light, pedal went to the floor and wouldn't do more than 15 mph until I was able to pull off to the side of the road. Luckily after fighting for 10 minutes uninstalling it and reconnecting the factory connector I had throttle response again but had to get my brother to clear the check engine codes, now stuck with a $300 paperweight I refuse to reinstall I don't recommend it's not worth the risk.

This has completely changed my driving experience with my 2017 Taco. I just run it with a slight boost adjustment and it does wonders. It now accelerates strong without the hesitation. Very easy to install, I just tucked it under the carpet by the middle console. I've been using this for over a year now with no issues. I wish had something like this when I bought the truck in 2018. But that's ok, now I feel like I have new vehicle. I'll be keeping it for much longer now.
