One would think that while making one of these at the factory, they would make sure the converter (not even sure that is what that small box even is) should convert to the same power as a normal cigarette lighter. When I tried to use this, the power output is so much disrupted that it does not operate what it was bought to use with. When I plug my little heater directly into the cigarette lighter, it works fine. When I try to use this, not so much. Does not put out enough power to operate. Would not recommend

I tried to hook up a device between a battery powerpack and an electronic device that uses a cigarette adapter. The red light on this device flashed but would turn the item on and off rapidly but ultimately the device wouldn't turn on. I tried this with a second device that I own and the same thing happened. I met someone who was using a competitors/similar product and his worked flawlessly. I am not going to return something to Amazon that costs around $10, but it didn't work for me.

I use this adapter in my 2017 Corolla USB port with my Ionic Pro mini-car Air Purifier for cigarette lighter plug. There is too little dashboard area to plug it directly into the lighter plug. This purchased adapter enables me to use the nearby USB and then tape the Ionic Pro beside digital viewscreen by the air vent. It reserves my front dash shelf for scissors, sweeteners, etc.

It doesn't seem to work like it should I tried using it for a couple things and it won't even charge my portable DVD player in the car so not a very good product

This is the perfect plug for my radar detector. I wondered if they made anything like this. You can find just about anything on Amazon. 😁
