Great training tire
I get an amazing number of miles from these tubulars. They weigh just a bit more than race tires and can handle a lot. I find these tires running at 120psi almost as comfortable as tubeless running at 80psi and climbing just feels faster.

High quality but tough to install
These are German made Continental tires, and the materials used to make these things look extremely durable, so durable that they are a pain to install. I had to send them to an lbs to do it for me. I found it that difficult and I didn’t want to ruin the tire or wheelsets. It will cost me about $40 per wheel to get them installed. Gotta pay to play for running Gatorskin tubulars.

Best Tubular Tire available!!!!
I need a lightweight yet durable tubular tire for my riding regiment. This tire really performs in the rain and corners and IS tough as a Gatorskin. They last longer than almost every tire I have ridden They are easy to stretch and mount, No use to use a cheap tubular and have to change it on a ride. I use these tires until they start to show tread wear (several 1000 miles and change) and safely change them out. No fuss - No more flats on rides (pumps, air cans, sealers are all things of the past). They get my highest recommendation,

Can say Gatorskins are excellent tires for road bikes!
This is one tough tire. I've had Sprinter Gatorskins on carbon wheels on my Trek Madone for a little over 2 years. We live in the country with lots of farm equipment being moved over the roads and (fingers crossed) not one flat ever with the Gatorskins. Rocks, nails, bolts glass and lots of Gotcha stuff but never a failure from Gatorskin. We love these tires. Have the tubulars on the Trek. Running tubeless Gatorskins on the Windsor so its not hard to figure out that these are primo tires. I highly recommend them.

Excellent Tire
Have only ever had one flat with them, and after more than 1,000 miles on the tire. Had used them on exclusively road conditions, but in recent years it has been very mixed surfaces with a lot of holes, pedestrian traffic and braking, where the wear is much higher. Would not consider anything else.

Continental sprinter gatorskin tubular 25mm
It's OK as a tubular tire, nothing to brag about. Puncture resistance almost non-existent.I would race on Conti competition or Vittoria Corsa. And train on clincher. But if one must train on tubular I would go with Vittoria Pave.

Poor quality
Came apart at the underside seam (where tubular contacts the rim), causing a flat during a race. Only ridden on it twice previously.
