Fantastic mixer!
I love this mixer. It is very compact but yet has so many features/channels for it's small footprint. I did a lot of research before buying this and I really couldn't find another mixer that comes close to it in value. There are not many 12 - channel mixers with twelve XLR inputs! Soundcraft has been around for a long time and they know how to build quality gear. The metal case on this mixer is very sturdy. The mic preamps are very quiet, at least until you get up to 3/4 turn. You generally don't need more gain than this. The EQ is very musical with the mid sweep control. Effects are very good. You have the option of two monitor sends if you aren't using effects. However, for a mixer this size you generally wouldn't need more than one send. This is only meant to mix a small bar band, etc., so you aren't going to be running a lot of monitors anyways. Best part is that all of your controls and plugins are on top. Very user friendly. In my opinion, this is an excellent product. Read the feature list to see if it meets your needs and I don't think that you'll be disappointed.

BRILLIANT ORGANIZED LAYOUT
Just received this magnificent mixer - I've used quite a few in my day in professional arenas & loved the great ones but never had the need or the money to aquire one. I've always gotten by with BEHRINGER equipment which is phenomenal & untouchable in its price range without which I would never have been able to write a song. I grew accustomed to the wonderful English craftsmanship but would have had to sell my Daughter to afford one for my home studio. I know that everyone now is locked into the digital world but I am an Analog-kinda guy. Tesla & Turing if you get me but suddenly some magic happened & this AWESOME Soundcraft entered my realm to nest. Very, very cool that they've thrown in a stripped down version of the Lexicon 24 bit Effects Processor. It's exactly the right parameters for monitoring or live applications. I can know exactly how the song will come off in different settings. The incredibly compact size is coupled with a brilliantly ergonomic layout so logically arranged that I don't even have to look down. The faders are wonderfully solid with that perfect amount of resistance so that all actions are steady & deliberate while resisting response to fumbling fingers & imperfect aim. Comes with very solid rack ears & fooloroof on/off swich & power cable. This unit is so dreamy I can only lodge one complaint . . . If Soundcraft is going to go to all this trouble to build the perfect mixer for me then why not include a nice cup of tea & a biscut? I seriously LOVE this unit! Hats off ya'all - We salute you!

Easily the Best 12 Channel DFX Mixer in it's Price Class
Top marks all the way around. Quiet mic-preamps; truly 12+ channels -- and in this price class, it's the only example I found; the rest all sweep stereo rights and lefts into the overall channel count. Channel equalizers provide more flexibility than most (we hardly) ever use -- the mid range sweep is a stand out though for those with an ear for it.Effects in this board are unexcelled anywhere, period; simply the best reverb in the business. I like the color coding -- and the metal chassis is built like a tank but not too heavy. Some people grouse about the location of the power cord input and main power switch: I'd say they got it right -- no way to accidentally power down the mixer. If you're seeking an analog, live performance digital effects mixer in this price range (low!!), go no further; you found it.

Great traditional mixer with SoundCraft's excellent sound quality
Simple, straightforward mixer. Good build quality. Great features. My only complaint is that the mute buttons do not make it easy to see what position they are in. There is no mute light.

Great sound, a few things...
First of all. This thing sounds fine. Reverbs/effects are nice and there are options to dial it in. It is well made and I LOVE the fact that ALL channels have a gain and they don't count the stereo channels as two channels, which is cheating in my opinion. I have this hoked up for my band's (Boxcar) practice space in St. Louis, and we take our 4 QSC k12s for live shows that have no PA. It works/sounds great, but I have a few issues. The number one issue is that there is no MUTE LIGHT so sometimes in the heat of mixing so many channels I have left a channel muted during a live scenario. This is unacceptable. There should be a light when the channel is muted because the buttons are hard to see, especially in the dark and things get confusing. The other is that there is no USB or digital out. Now that it is 2020 and we have to do internet shows, this is a real downside because I have to go into my interface and then into my computer, just an unnecessary aditoion to the signal chain. Not that big of a deal. All the channels that are real channels is a huge deal. The foot print of this thing is really small compared to other PAs of similar ability. I am thinking of ditching this for the QSC wireless mixer because of these issues. I have no functional issues with this unit however, and think that it will serve me in most practice/live situations fine. If you want to hear a live session that was captured with this device running through my interface (audit id22) check out our live show for NPR on our Facebook.

Easy to use and built like a tank
Very compact mixer with pristine sound. Easy to use and built like a tank. No plastic here. It is impressive the sound quality for the price. I have a Mackie ProFX22 but needed a compact mixer and this one wins hands down. Don't want to use the Mackie anymore.

Great analog mixer in pure sound and effects
This brand of mixer gives you the best sound, plus the lexicon effects are awesome. I like it alot. Just that one part that it is analog, so it cant memorize the chosen preset of bank B, it could memorize Bank A though

Mixer with integrated reverb is a space saver
Having a Lexicon reverb built-in reduces the number of connections in a sound system. While this Lexicon system doesn't have all of the features of a stand-alone reverb, it has enough features for a home recording system or karaoke setup.
