No effort setup
Worked perfectly out of the box with my RCA brand tv.

It does work on my tv however…
The remote casing’s top piece of silver sticky stuff, what’s on top between the buttons, won’t stay stuck down. The sticky part doesn’t work! This needs redesigned.

Bought for one purpose only, and it delivered
Recently I acquired a RCA tv (L46FHD37R) with a missing remote control. I bought a RCA universal remote (RCR313BR) as a replacement, which worked great!However, not long afterwards, I realized that the screen was slightly zoomed in which resulted in the screen being cropped out on the sides. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but the menus on my PS4's game (civilization 6) are hugging the corners, and would get badly cropped out.That's when I discovered that I couldn't change the screen size except through a dedicated zoom/format/aspect ratio button from the remote - which the universal remote lacked. Pretty dumb, but it is what it is. I even dusted out my old phone with an IR blaster in it and installed a remote control app, but the option wasn't available there either.I specifically bought this remote for the "Format" button. And it works beautifully!! There was no setup involved. All I had to do was plugged in a couple of AA batteries and that's it.

Works Exactly as Advertised
This remote works perfectly! I always wait for at least a couple of weeks before I review electronic devices to ensure they last. The remote was delivered 2 days early, and more importantly, Works Great! It's almost like I have a new TV because I don't have to wave around my old remote trying to get it to connect fully. All I did was install 2 batteries and it's working! (I Do Have the Exact Remote part number on my old remote that this specified so everything works the same.) Great product & would definitely buy again
