Q: Can these be installed with the existing brackets from the plastic blinds I am taking down?

I don't think so. But, I did use the same screw holes from the old brackets so I did not have to drill any new holes. This 61 year old grandma had no trouble installing them by herself.

Q: Could these be installed in the reverse direction, so that you don't see the roller mechanism as much?

No the bracket only fits one way. The rollers interfere with the bracket installation (could not be installed/centered). They are poor quality and the company does not stand behind them (no refund). I went to Home Depot and was satisfied (easy install, looked the same, worked w/o sagging, both covered the window, also cheaper).

Q: Is Morning Mist white?

Yes, the Morning mist color is white.

Q: Can i hang these in front of the window?

That's how I hung ours. Worked fine.
