The food processor lid was an exact fit for my Cuisinart 14-cupper. The machine is working perfectly, like new.

This worked for me perfectly. It is the exact same part that came with my Cuisinart which I purchased a couple of years ago. If you need to replace your Cuisinart top make sure that it's the 4 catch model. If yours only has 2 (I've seen this in other reviews that it doesn't work with those older ones.). Was it expensive for what is basically a piece of plastic? Yes it was. Was it cheaper than buying a whole new machine, absolutely 💯. I hate adding to landfill and would rather repair than throw away. This fit the bill and it came much quicker then expected! Fit perfectly.

Don’t know how I did it, but I broke off a piece of the original top. So happy that cuisinart allows us to buy just the pieces that we need.

Just what I needed to replace a chipped part!

Unfortunately this item won’t fit my original bowl even though it is the correct size. As a lot of others have mentioned, the lock mechanism is a little plastic piece that is not sturdy at all. Obviously it will break before the engine. Shame on Cuisinart for not providing a lid that would fit perfectly with the older bowl. My food processor is not even 7 years old. The rest of the appliance works perfectly well. For the price tag, you could expect replacement parts that fits. I won’t buy the bowl + lid replacement. At 90 dollars, I could buy a new one!

Figuring out which replacement Cuisinart food processor lid to purchase (after experiencing the broken safety tab like so many others have) is not an easy task. My first attempt based on customer feedback was incorrect. The lid diameter was too small. I measured and posted a question to this product, as to whether this lid has a flange OD (part that fits inside the bowl) of about 6 ⅞ inches. No response so I ordered. Turns out it is that diameter, and it does fit the bowl on my classic square base 14 cup Cuisinart. See photo for where to measure. Also, to improve your chances of getting the right lid - check out how many locking tabs there are. This lid has 4. Some have three, and others have 2.

Wanted to leave a review to help others determine if this lid will fit their Cuisinart food processor. The one Q&A above helped me - if your existing lid as 4 tabs, this is the correct replacement. I was concerned because this model had a "1" at the end of the product number, but that didn't seem to matter. It's a nice fitting "click", and I didn't need to hold it down for it to work. The other 2-part lid components fit in nicely. Red is misleading on my photo - showing the original bowl # against the new lid #, and that it's a match.

The product is good, it just doesn't fit my cuisinart work bowl very well. It could be that my cuisinart is too old and the work bowl is wearing out.
