Great plant!
We are very happy with our bamboo plant. It arrived on time, was exactly as expected, and we were impressed with the packaging. We received it and planted it yesterday.

Be careful what you wish for!
We ordered this in April 2020 and itโs now April 2026. We had a hot gravelly area with a big ugly fence and I just wanted some quick greenery and screening. I figured we need screening in all the directions it could go and wouldnโt be a problem if it spread. (and anyway, thatโs a โlater problemโ right??) Well, this bamboo delivered. And now weโve landscaped a bit, changed the fence out and suddenly I care a lot if it takes over the yard, which it threatens to. Iโm still happy we have the screening between our pergola and the street but we need to control its runners now. Still experimenting with that. Anyway, originally we planted 3 in a row (outside Denver, I think our zone is 5a.) The one completely outside the tree shade has consistently done better. South facing, tons of sun. Itโs now (6 years later) at like 8 feet tall and the shortest of the 3 is maybe 3 feet tall in its bushy parts, though itโs sending its spiky shoots up higher so maybe itโs due for a growth spurt this year. All in all they have done well as a screen though it was at 3-4 feet for a while and has only in the past couple years gotten as high as my head. But the spreading. Itโs poking up its shoots in all directions about 6 feet to 10 feet away from the original plants, and going farther all the time. I *highly* recommend planting in a large pot if you donโt want it everywhere. In my last pic, the blue is where it was planted, and the red is where itโs coming up where it was not planted! Thatโs just this spring.. we pulled a bunch of new shoots last year also. What weโre thinking is dig a 3 foot-ish trench along the edge of the walkway toward the gate and fill it with cement to make like an underground wall, then dig out all rhizomes on the wrong side of it. Seems like itโs reasonably easy to follow the roots in the ground at this stage (though they are under weed fabric on that side and thatโs going to be a mess). Yes we are idiots for planting bamboo without containment, and yes this is โrunning bambooโ not โclumping bambooโ (if you donโt know what this means do yourself a favor and look it up before purchase) but I want you to consider yourself warned!! That said, itโs done a great job of what I bought it for (maybe TOO good a jobโฆ) so canโt fault it for that. Itโs been hardy with no maintenance at all through all weather, in crappy soil, and it clearly continues to be really happy in our yard!

Gorgeous Bamboo To Get Started With
Just took it out of the box and this is what it looks like. Tall (almost 3 feet), lots of shoots and full of leaves. Excited as hardy bamboo is difficult to find in my area. Can't wait to plant it!

The most cared for and loved plant I have every received!
Iโve never seen such care taken in the shipment of a beautiful plant! It was so carefully packaged. Anyone who saw it could tell it was so well cared for and loved. I do not usually write reviews but seriously they did an amazing job. After the first one I ordered, I place another order. I will continue to order from them . Please order from them. Amazing!!!!

Great packaging, Plant is thriving
We ordered one plant. It arrived very nicely packaged and was HUGE. Expect a little browning at first, but know that it won't mess your plant up. We kept it inside in a bucket for a month and watered it regularly while waiting on the ground to thaw. We transplanted outdoor in April. It didn't do anything for a few months. Now, it's late June and we're starting to see new shoots sprouting up around the original plant. We can't wait to see it in a few years when we've got the forest we've been dreaming of. We credit the success of our plant to the helpful directions included in the packaging. We'll use this seller again, for sure.

Disappointed!
Much smaller then what I expected for the money. Very disappointed! Way overpriced. Also u guys posted deliver of 5/9 yet they arrive today. Weeks off on the delivery timing which is ridiculous. My gardener scheduled installation based on being delivered around two weeks from now which is a big problem as they r here already !! Iโm very disappointed on the size for what I paid and deliver information.

Nice plants
I bought this item for $49.00 last week. I went to reorder and it is now $65.00. Why? Beautiful healthy bamboo plant arrived well wrapped and well packaged with the roots well wrapped and sealed with plenty of moisture, secured inside the box with tape and twine, 2-3 weeks early, in excellent condition. The 2 1/2 pages of information is valuable and will be kept. Upon opening the box I detected the love and care that went into my new plant, and when I was reading the literature I knew it. Someone really loves and enjoys what he/she is doing. I will deal with them again, and highly recommend them.
