Empty Nesters Go-To Dishes
Well-designed, very nice set. Perfect for causal meals for the two of us whether at the table or in front of the TV. The indented spaces are more than sufficient to keep everything from sliding around. The bowl is a perfect size - some look like they’re made for pre-schoolers - and the tray can easily handle the larger slices of bread. They’d make a great housewarming gift with some nice cloth napkins thrown in.UPDATE... After using for a while we LOVE this set. No doubt they’ll be among our most used dishes. Chili & cornbread, spaghetti & garlic bread, soup & sandwiches... endless combinations when you need a bowl and something on the side. Will be purchasing more for home and gifting. It’s crazy that these sets are so difficult to find.

Love the set, but I made the mistake of only reading the first answer on the question and answer section. It said the set was two bowls and two plates. Not correct. There is only one bowl and one plate per set, so I had to order another one. You need to remove that incorrect answer.

Perfect!!
Maybe a bit heavy but it has a nice, sturdy feel. The bowl is a good size and the sandwich side will easy take a big sandwich made with bread machine bread. So nice. I love to nibble while I read and this set is so nice for an evening of a good book, cozy fire, soup and sandwich.

Like 'em, but not stackable.
I bought three sets of these last year. Like them a lot, but wish they were stackable. Not easily stored in the cupboard because they aren't designed to nestle together.

Super lunchtime set
Perfect for people who want a soup bowl and sandwich plate set. The plate is recessed to hold the soup bowl, which holds about 12 ounces. It looks like white porcelain but isn’t light weight.

Can't live without them
These are perfect for guests and casual dinning. If you aren't serving soup you can always use that section for a beverage. I just love them
