Don't buy this product! This will break your camera and computer firewire port!
I managed to connect the cable to my PC and my camera, it was very hard to make it fit. After several minutes I could introduce the cable to the computer interface and then to the camera. As a result, there was no connection! I thought it was just because it's a brand new cable, but I solemnly regret buying this cable. If you are planning to buy it, just test if it doesn't fit or enter gently and then discard it immediately!

Dont buy
The plugs are slightly too big!!! I tried them in 3 devices and I really struggled to push them in. I already have a lead which fits fine so it's definitely a problem with this lead. Also, it's didn't work, probably because of the size problem. Don't buy.

Faulty cable didn't work
This didn't work. I reinstalled Windows 7. Camcorder not recognised. Installed Ubuntu. Camcorder still not recognised. Searched the forums and then realised it might be the cable. Yes it was. These cables dont work
The cables didn't work, I had to order more from kenable at a quarter the price and they worked. I wont be ordering cables from Amazon again.
