Just Artifacts 20-Inch Round Chinese Japanese Paper Lantern (1pc, Blue)

It’s actually a lot bigger than i expected since i didn’t measure it before but i think it’s really pretty and it illuminates the whole room in a much softer way. The only thing i didn’t like is that the metal wires at the top were a bit weird to work with- especially with my specific fixture because they’re only meant for an electric wire to go through but I ended up finding a way for it to stay up without touching the bulb because i wasn’t sure if that’d be a fire hazard.

This classic design was exactly as expected. No surprises. It makes a beautiful addition to any home as soft, earthy, warm element to accent your decor. Add a dim or dimmable light inside and it can be an inexpensive centerpiece. Remember to read and follow assembly instructions carefully so as not to tear the delicate rice paper.

This thing doesn't hang straight. The wire stretcher that goes inside is set up really weird. The light cord goes to one side and makes the lamp hang crooked no matter what you do.

Love how this adds light to a dark corner. Easy to put together. The metal pole in the center bent a little when I attached it to the lantern but it doesn’t seem to have caused any problems. Love it.

A friend made me a hot air balloon mobile for my nursery. Only problem was the balloon popped on the way home. Since it’s a Star Wars nursery I got the idea to replace the balloon with a paper lantern. A sharpie pen and a cartoon drawing of the Death Star, some time and patience and it’s done.

The lantern was what I expected as I have bought from this company before. Their lanterns are sturdy enough to be painted and used for various purposes but can poked through, so I would say as far as sturdiness they are average to slightly better. I don't know of any that are particularly sturdy if made of paper. They are a good buy at their price, and this company makes these lanterns in white unlike some other companies and in a lot of different sizes. You can get most anywise you need as I did.

I received the paper lantern today and went to put it on my lamp. I had to do some adaptations to make it work. However, before I even had it all the way out of the package, I could see it was riddled with holes. Maybe they were more like slashes, or just worn down in manufacturing. I hope this isn’t the norm for this product. Not worth one tenth of the cost.
