Working one is fast. Bad one is reveresed.
I purchased one of these 120GB ones last week for a NuC and installed it, all seemed fine, then in the middle of cloning the system to it, it died.I debated giving up on these, but decided to try one more time and Amazon immediately sent me a replacement which arrived today. I took every safety precaution and installed it, let it acclimate, and cloned the system over to it and the second one as of the last 3 hours is performing flawlessly. This is replacing a Kingston 2.5 ssd as the sata connector card in the NuC is defective. When I booted up the system after setting the bios to start form the msata card, the speed was phenomenal compared to the older kingston ssd.If it works for a long time this will make me very happy.Of note, the first one I received is the complete opposite of the pictures here in this item page. the chips and components were on the opposite sides of the board! I do not know what kind of revision it was, but it died immediately. The second one that is working looks just like the first image in the listing here.Amazon gets top marks for getting me a replacement immediately!

It is way better than I expected.
This is NOT a paid review or a free sample review... I bought this product for my own laptop.I do own other ssd's and have used other ssd's in the laptop I am using this one now. With this out of the way, this little ssd surprised me a lot!it performed very well, keeping temperatures stable, even under load. Now the name is funny, and I got the 120gb, but it passed all my needs with flying colors.Only thing I cannot say is durability, because I have used this for a few weeks, but I do not know in the long term how it will hold up, but for the moment, everything looks normal, and performs excellent.I really hope it does hold up over time, but I have my documents, pictures and downloads folders mapped to a second drive anyway, so at worst I would need a reinstall if things go sideways (with a small SSD, it is what I do anyways, just windows and apps installation, files in a second drive).

Good drive for the money but ...
Like my headline, good drive for the money but I'm kind of wondering about having the primary chip set up on the board towards the internal components rather than being on the outside when it's installed. Had a laptop that the msata crashed, put this in and installed a operating system (Linux) and have been using it since (about 2 days as I write this) Will see if when I start stressing the laptop which will increase the heat output if anything glitches.

Works as Expected. May update after some burn-in time.
I bought the 2TB version and I can verify that is works in a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga S1 model 20CD00B1US. It fit in the M.2 PCIe slot where the 4G card would have been installed and I’m using it as a secondary drive to the internal 250GB internal 2.5”. Write to it was 20-30MBps for a bunch of small files but for larger continuous Media files it ramped up to 350-400MBps I’m sure if you copy a single large continuous file it would see better speeds but I was copying my 60GB iTunes library and short home videos clips. Install was easy Win10 recognized it immediately and it formatted to 1800GB which was a little disappointing losing out on 248GB for a full 2TB.

Super affordable and gets the job done.
I was a bit skeptical at first, being not a big branded SSD SATA mSATA, but it's also a legacy style connector too. So that was the great part of it, most of the time when you are hunting for older legacy parts they tend to be a bit pricey due to the low demand. But installed it, and disconnected all additional storage devices, plugged in my USB install of my operation system and started the computer. The drive detected and I was able to install the operating system without a hitch. The drive is quick. No issues using it, using it hard now for about 6 months by constantly reading and writing to it.

Better than expected .. excellent value
I bought this product to upgrade my acepc ak1 that came with 32GB emmc. I found this msata drive and was a little hesitant due to the unknown brand and price but anyhow I decided to give it a try. The installation was straight forward the only problem was that the drive did not come with the screws to fix it on the socket so I had to improvise and was able to fix it. Then I cloned my existing drive to the new msata and to my surprise everything worked out fine. I haven't benchmark ed this drive but it seems faster than my old 32GB emmc which is being use as a secondary drive. Overall very satisfied with this drive I gave it 4 stars only for the lack of screws performance wise it delivers.

It works fine
SMART data reporting could be a bit better, it doesn't report the wear leveling very well which makes me just nervous. Overall it does what it's suppose to. I wouldn't use in a highly critical application. In my case it's running in a traffic shaper with no write backs.More like 3.5 stars.

Great value: fair price for a fast mSATA drive
I needed a low-cost drive for a Windows 10 laptop refurb. Wanted something fast but did not want to spend a ton. Found this on Amazon.com. Install was easy but is all laptop dependent. Fast and reliable so far. Only draw back is no support software is provided. But there are good, free software options out there to tweak and maximize performance.Overall, quite pleased and would recommend as a value mSATA drive. After using it for some time, still a great SSD. Would buy again!
