Very Good Prop!!
I installed this prop (19Px14") on my 2009 Bayliner 185BR with 3.0L Mercruiser. I have to say, after maiden run with new prop, I am thoroughly impressed. My old prop was a Michigan Wheel 3 blade, but I was looking for more performance for pulling tubers and water skiers. Reading the reviews of this prop I decided to give a try. This prop accomplished everything I was looking for. The boat planed much quicker and turning was much more responsive. I didn't notice any real sacrifice at top end speed. I hit 37MPH on moderately choppy water. I dropped down 2 pitch from my 3 blade prop and the WOT stayed at about 4700-4800RPM. I also noticed that boat will stay on plane at much lower RPM which will equate to better fuel economy at cruising speed (if you care??)For water skiing, it pulled me out of the water much quicker (I weigh 225lbs) which is exactly what I was looking for. The old 3 blade could get me out of water, but it struggled a lot putting more stress on skier to get themselves out of water. One thing to note, is that if you have the standard trim anode (triangle type), you will need to upgrade it to a high rake version anode (822777Q1). The rake of the 4 blade prop is more aggressive and makes contact with the trim tab even if its the same diameter as the old 3 blade prop. So be prepared to other grind down old trim anode or purchase new one at the same time you buy the prop!!

Great prop and great price
I'm very pleased with this prop. It was very easy to install. The performance difference is very noticeable. I installed this on my 2008 Stingray 195LR and the hole shot pulling me (240 lbs) up on a wakeboard is significantly improved. It planes out much faster and I'm not experiencing the cavitation that I was experiencing with the previous prop. With the pitch change, I did lose a couple mph top end which I could care less about. Great price for a very good performing prop.

Best prop money can buy but buy 3 sizes small they run big.
I’ll just say these are outstanding props. My boat has never been as fast as it is now. Since no one else is saying it let me save you the trouble I went through. These 4 blade props run 3inches bigger than they are. Meaning if you buy a 17p it’s going to run your rpm’s at levels of a 21. Take my word for it buy 3 sizes smaller than you need in a 3 blade. Also this particular prop is for a 4.75 gearcase. If you need the 4.25 get the 2143. I had to return and buy the 2143 version. Had no idea until I received this one. Now I have to return the 2143 because I bought the size I needed and they run big like I previously stated. So do your research get the correct size and you will love this prop. I wouldn’t be going through all this trouble if it wasn’t 1k% worth it. My boat 90hp Johnson on my nitro 170tf went from about 35 mph to what feels like 50 and the steering feels like power steering on a corvette. Amazing.

Best Upgrade For My Boat
I have owned 4 different boats over the past 10 years. All of them Mercruiser sterndrives. I have always had 3-blade stainless steel props and overall been happy with them. I always like to know that my boat can move down the lake as fast as possible. Well, I have decided to try and move to a 4-blade prop to see if the difference with worth it...............and I must say the difference is HUGE. I have a 21ft, bowrider with a 5.7 liter 300hp motor. This 4-blade prop pops me out of the water fast with little to no bow rise. Turning and control are 100% better. I can trim my outdrive up much higher now without losing my grip of the water or control. High the outdrive........more fuel savings. I did drop 1 inch in pitch from a 19pitch 3-blade stainless to an 18 pitch aluminum 4-blade. my WOT RPM is exactly 4800. My top speed before was about 54mph (GPS Verified) to 49mph. So yes, 5 mph less...............who cares. My speed is only lower when I start hitting about 4100 rpms or higher. Anything less than that and they are the same as my 3-blade prop. I rarely ever go full throttle. I am extremely happy with this prop and next summer will be replacing it with the stainless steel version.

Value Prop Winner
Like most boaters, replacing a prop usually means your old prop lost an argument with a rock or a log. A rock in my case. Not anxious to drop $400+ on a new stainless prop, but still wanting the performance advantages of a 4-blade, I settled on a Turning Point Legacy and separate Torque Hub kit for about $150. The TPL is a unique design with 2 cup and 2 cleaver blades - two blades are high performance variable rake and aggressive pitch design and two blades utilize an "offshore" style shape for high speed and maximum stern lift. They claim this is the highest performance aluminum propeller on the market, and I tend to believe them. The hole shot is much better, and cruising is improved, with a lot less wallowing on my 21' / 280HP outdrive bow-rider. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars? I'll save that for the stainless version of the same prop. For the money, I don't think you will ever find a better prop.

Poor product
We received rave reviews from the manufacturer about this 4 blade prop and that is why we bought it. The prop diminished the performance of my boat by no less than 10%. Upon contacting the manufacturer, I had to spend another $25 to get a replacement 3 blade prop. Once on the boat, there was still a 5% decline in performance. When we contacted the prop manufacturer again, they want another $25 to send yet another prop. They refuse to take the prop back and refund our money, We now have $180 tied up in a prop we can not use. Please note this is a product and manufacturer review. Turning Point is not a company we will ever do business with gain..

Product not new prop Dusty with spider webs. Loosen box and banging around the fins
Product arrived in a box that been open and retaped closed. Inside the prop was loose and dents are in the cardboard where it shouldn't have hit. The prop was covered in dust and cobwebs. How do you get dust and cobwebs inside a new product? Hoping prop is okay. I'll certainly know if it's damaged when I go out on the lake.
