I own both of Mannhart's early products (the plastic water bottle and the large 1L insulated behemoth); this is the perfect middle ground between the 2.First of all, the size. This fits perfectly in my car's cup holder, perfectly in the side of my laptop backpack, perfectly in my hand and perfectly on my desk at work, taking up very little space.It is, as advertised, leak-proof however you need to be careful: if you assemble this while the lid is still wet after cleaning, it can leak as liquid is then able to pass through where the water already is. You need to be sure to dry the lid properly before screwing it on and transporting it, or you might find that when you drink from it and close the lid, some tea / coffee / whatever leaks out the top (a tiny amount). This is the case with every travel mug I've ever used though so it's probably not news to you, I just wanted to be thorough when testing it out.This travel mug has a really nice design; it's sleek and a very attractive minimalistic colour with their gorgeous new logo on it. The clip / lock on the lid is really easy to operate with gloves on, so when it's freezing cold outside there's no compromise needed when using it.The insulation is fantastic; I get up at 0730, shower etc. and then go and make myself a cappuccino in this travel mug. I know that I'm not going to start drinking the coffee until around 0930 / 1000 but I can still put time and care into the coffee I make because I know it'll still be hot when I get to it. Coffee should be only just too hot to drink when it's made, and it's still so a couple of hours after I put the lid on, after traveling to work in the freezing cold.Finally, cleaning. Cleaning this product is actually surprisingly easy. The lid screws off and the mug itself can just be cleaned with a brush (it's very narrow so forget cleaning it like you'd clean a regular mug). The lid opens up nice and wide so you can clean both sides of it and the seal comes out from the inside as well so you can clean that thoroughly and ensure there's no build up around / behind it. As I said above, be sure to dry it thoroughly (I use kitchen towel if I need to dry it in a hurry) to avoid possible leakage.All in all this is easily 5 stars. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time because it's become a part of my routine and saved me from having to buy coffee on the way to work or drink the horrible instant stuff in the office!

I work long 12-13hr shifts and this is so very good at insulating your drink you will be impressed. Just a word of advice, be careful as it will keep things so very hot, piping hot for 6-8hrs, so instead.... I now fill it only with herbal teas, so I can use half hot water then top up with cold. This gives me a hot drink for 8-10 hrs (but at a drinkable temp rather than scolding).

I can make a hot drink at 8am and at 3pm it's still too hot to drink in one go! This is a brilliant travel/everyday mug that keeps its content hot for a very long time. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was maybe a grip feature as the outside can be a little slippery when holding it. Its leakproof feature works great as I've have no problems and I use it daily (had it for a month now). It's a neat size and fits great in my work bag. Would highly recommend this.

I have used this travel mug 4 days a week since it arrived on 17th January 2019 (this is written on 2/4/2019. It has been brilliant, looks good, leakproof kept my tea hot for longer than stated time and even fit in the cup holder in a sprinter van. The paint has scratched off in places but that is wear and tear. Unfortunately after being brilliant for 2.5 months it is now crap. The exterior is hot to the touch when a brew is made when it didn’t used to be and doesn’t keep a drink warm for the few hours I need it to. It hasn’t been banged or dropped and it is all steel anyway. I have ordered a replacement from another manufacturer and will see how that performs. If it doesn’t I will order another one of these and hop it lasts longer.

I love this product! It's very efficient and great at its job. Should have 5 stars but only giving 4 as it's so efficient, I have still burnt my mouth on the contents hours after filling! As a travel mug... I have found that I need to decant the contents I to another cup so it can cool a bit before drinking! Thus defeats the purpose of having it on the go...

I purchased one of these back in November, and haven’t used it much, but I’m away working at an event and thought it would be good to take with me. I made myself a tea in the cup this morning at about 10am, and it was too hot to drink. I came back to my mug at 7pm and it’s still burning hot, guessing I’ll get to drink it at midnight. Great mug Mannhart!!

I thought nothing could beat my big Mannhart travel mug (this one's big brother) turns out I was wrong. This little travel mug kept my coffee warm for almost 10 hours. And it holds more than it looks so it kept me going for my long night shift. I was so impressed with it, I got my mum one (who also does night shifts)! Reccomend it!!

Great product. I use it to keep lukewarm water that I sip throughout the day. Apparently it’s healthier. Keeps temperature good for long time. Easy drinking and leak proof. I’ve learnt to do a conscious slightly extra twist to ensure lid sealed, as I have had small leak just tightening it quickly. Ordered a second one for a gift for my mum. I think she will appreciate carrying her hot drink when she is out and about.
