KAVU Women's Kicker Shoulder Bag

I was surprised but not disapppointed when this bag cost only $12.00. I cannot understand it, as theother colors weremuch moreexpensive. Made of corduroy, it is agreat travel bag, having many compartments. I especially like the zippered external one. The strap is a little short of the advertised 41" (maybe that's why it was on sale), but otherwise, it is totally as noted in Amazon. An east-west bag is easier to get into, but I do like this north-south one when "on-the-go."

I rarely give items a one star review. Usually I can at least muster up the enthusiasm for 2-3 stars even if the product isn't exactly what I expected or wanted. I own and regularly use two larger tote bags from Kavu and find them very cute and useful, so I was excited about this purchase, but it falls utterly and completely flat. I am astounded to see all of the high ratings on it here because it's not a bag that I would even remotely consider carrying. It looks like something from a dollar shop and the only redeeming quality is a small Kavu label - aside from that it truly looks and feels like a dollar shop item. The fabric is very cheap-seeming and has visible imperfections. The bag size was larger than I expected and causes me to question the Amazon "model" they use because I am a tall, medium to large woman and this would look far too big worn as a crossbody bag, but the awkward vertical shape makes it less like a messenger bag and just...pretty horrible. I honestly can't imagine this bag would be useful for active/hiking either because the fabric (at least on the gold bag) is not easy care and would show every little speck of dirt. I sent it back immediately and will only consider clothes and totes from Kavu from here on out.

I love the look of this bag. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the pocket configuration. It's convenient to have that pocket on the outside, but I'd prefer it be on the back of the bag so it doesn't flip upside down when I open that flap - seems I forget to zip it sometimes. Otherwise, it's perfect. Pretty and durable for all sorts of activities. Exactly what you expect from Kavu.

Wouldn't fit my small hairbrush though. No biggie.)I wish it had a magnetic snap on it instead of Velcro though, on the outer flap. Velcro snags things and eventually gets kind of mangled. But that's not a deal breaker. Overall, it was a good deal, and a cute (albeit fairly small) purse.

In comparison to the "reference photos" for this item, this bag was larger than what I had in mind. Still, the material is of good quality and I love the bright pattern (which is true to the images above).

Love, love, love this bag! After not using a purse for 4 years, I needed something that would carry a small amount of items especially the cell phone. This bag fits the bill. It more compartments that I really needed, but I love that you can use it as a cross body bag. I also thought that I would not use the cell phone pocket, but it is really handy! Ample space and very cute! Amazon had the best price out there!

This purse is a good size it does fit a iPad 4 and is still on the smaller side. It works great for travel with all the zippers keeping thing in. The only thing I wish it had was a zipper pocket on the back.

Love this medium sized bag. Has a key fobby thing and just the right amount of space for a my iphone 6, glasses and wallet. The design is too darn cute for words, as an animal advocate it was a must have.
