Helps Ease the Pain, But Generally Relaxing
Wife has had really bad neck issues after a car accident years ago. She's seen chiropractors and massage therapists to take the edge off, never wanting to do drugs. Biggest relief she got was having me jerry-rig a towel onto our dresser and put her head in it. Honestly, I didn't think head hammocks were a thing, aside from the door ones, so when I saw this and the reviews were more "didn't work for me" and not "the elastic snapped and gave me a black eye", like some of the others, I figured I might as well give it a try. Well, she says it helps ease the pain as much as my rigged solution but it's way more comfortable. She'll actually just nap in it (picture proof) and says she feels really refreshed after. I've tried it a few times but it does nothing for me, so obviously it's for very certain kinds of neck and shoulder pain. Not sure this is a "cure" but if she's happy and not in pain (and we're saving a chunk of change in doctors visits), I'm happy. If interested, you may as well try it out and return it if it isn't for you.

It’s alright for relaxing.
It’s alright, very well built, it just doesn’t help as much as I thought it would. I wish I had gotten the one that attaches to a door frame. I like when the chiropractor pulls on my head to pop my neck, this one just allows your head to suspend. I want that relief of having my head being pulled not suspended. But it’s a good product otherwise.

Great for the neck release
This was easy to assemble, and I lie down with my head cradled in it for about 10-15 minutes when my neck feels tense. After about 5 minutes, I gently move my neck around, and I can feel that I want to move my body further down away from it, as my spine is elongating and releasing. So, I move my body down, and this continues the stretch. This keeps happening every few minutes, until my body is much farther down and this way I know that my entire spine has relaxed and elongated. I move my neck around every few minutes from side to side, and often my cervical vertebrae will release. Also, it's good to bend your legs up so you are in a fetal position with your legs on top of you, spine curled up. Then press your spine down and sometimes the spinal vertebrae will adjust. It's like a gentle chiropractic appointment as your spine self corrects. I think it is good to periodically gently move your spine around as you feel it elongating so everything can self adjust.

Comfortable but not very adjustable on height
Holds head securely, but strap needs greater adjustable length. Also head angle tends to not support neck well. A bit cumbersome to use overall.

I'm impressed!
I was hesitant to buy this but as someone with chronic neck and back issues I figured it was worth a try. I go to three chiropractor once a month and get a massage every 3 weeks. My neck is always messed up. Most of the time I can't turn my neck all the way to one side or the other. Lots of tension headaches. After the 1st few days I had full mobility in my neck which is never the case! I have been able to reduce the frequency of chiropractor/massage visits. I used it everyday for 15 mins or so. Now I do it 3 or 4x a week. Its really comfy and relaxing. After the 1st use I was hooked! It seems really good quality, sturdy, and like it will last a long while. Go ahead and try it! I think next year I'm going to order like 10 of these and hand them out for Christmas.

Doesn’t provide any Traction or Stretch
This thing doesn’t work at all. Yes it’s easy to assemble and the idea of it is smart, but it doesn’t provide any traction and there doesn’t do anything but hold up your head. Did not stretch my neck one bit. I guess that’s why most of these contraptions work best on a door knob.

Good Idea, Poor Execution
The product looks like the picture, but the legs are too short. I need a good deal of stretch, and like some other reviewers report, pulling the headgear far enough from the frame to get an effective neck stretch causes the whole frame to topple over. This is the only issue I have with product, but it's major. Right now I am jamming one of the legs under the bottom of a door to prevent the tipping. It's cramped and awkward, but it does keep the unit from tipping forward. I think I might be able to place the parts of the frame that rest on floor invide some long pieces of rigid PVC pipe to add stability.

Shut out the world and let your head float
Life is so much better since I got this in my home. I get migraines. When one comes knocking I get my cold pack ready lie down on the couch and relax while my head floats in a haze of cool relief. You can't believe how good it feels. Makes me realize how much tension I hold in my neck all day long. Allowing your head to truly just hang is the best feeling. You will not regret this purchase for a second and will want to just go lie in it when you are stressed. If you have headaches, neck pain, shoulder tension, jaw pain you will be so happy to have it around. Head floats just about 2 inches above the surface below you but that's all you need. Sturdy unit, but lightweight and easy to store. Fabric head wrap device cradles the head and face and pads can be moved and repositioned via velcro for perfect pressure point application on the sides of the head. Simple relief, you need this
