You can't rebuild a carb this cheap, but will need to know how to adjust a carb.
This carb looked nice out of the box, was packed well, but had a few issues. First, the hose that is supplied, is for the primer. This is not stated in the ad. It is 3/16" hose, 5-6" long which is too big a diameter, not long enough and a sloppy fit. Unusable, it should be 4mm or 5/32" and twice as long. Second, upon inspecting the inside of the float bowl, there were two small rust spots starting on the inside. This will inevitably cause long term internal corrosion. Third, the return spring for the butterfly was not installed properly. This could have happened during shipping, but was likely missed at the factory. Fourth, it is a carburetor, so it will likely require a bit of adjustment after install. This is to be expected and not a negative. If you are able to bolt on ANY carb out of the box and run it with no adjustment, you are EXTREMELY lucky. I only mention this because I have read reviews that claim the contrary. It came with a ballpark setting.

Fits fine, needs threads
The carburetor came on time. Fit to my tecumseh engine was fine, but the cover mounting holes (on the left side by the throttle adjustment screw) come without threads. The holes are bottomed (or, dead-ended) so needed a blind tap. At this size (#8 or so) you can't just go to the hardware store and get one. My favorite local mechanic to the rescue, he started the threads with a tapered tap, then used several sacrificial machine screws to finish up ($10 to him). I would have looked for a unit with tapped holes if the detail was in the description.I got the unit to start with just a couple primes, then warmed up and made minimum adjustments for mix (very easy at the bottom of the bowl) and idle/high speed adjustments. The price beats the OEM (Deere) by about $180 bucks. Savings were worth the extra effort to tap the holes, just needed to know that from the out-set.

Good carb. Worth the money.
Fit my John Deere 828d snowblower perfectly. It’s got a couple more adjustments than the factory carb, but didn’t take long to dial it in. Adjustment instructions would have been helpful because the factory carb doesn’t have adjustments, but other than that it’s good. Also, the fuel filter is different than what’s pictured. It isn’t clear. It’s red plastic with a simple metal screen inside. Won’t catch any small chunks but doesn’t really matter on a snow blower.

Nice carburetor!
Fit and work fine on my Sears snow blower I did have to fine tune carburetor but other than that runs good!

Worked as hoped
The carburetor solved surging problem in the Tecumseh hmsk80 snowblower engine I was working on.The minor downside is the primer hose is too loose, fuel shutoff valve is 90deg version instead of straight as pictured, 8-32 threads need to be tapped, all minor issues as I mentioned. Hence 4 stars.

Got it running finally
Perfect fit but had to use a tap on the mounting holes that screw the cover for the carburetor. Otherwise perfect started right up little adjustments but perfect snowblower runs great again
