Fast Lane Light & Sound Garbage Truck

My grandson absolutely loves this truck BUT, the trash can mechanism stopped working within days of using it. It was stiff working from day one but I thought it would loosen up instead it packed it up. He still likes the truck but is disappointed that the trash can doesn't go it. The motion really pleased him. Wasted money.

This truck is NOT what is described. It is about 1/3 the size that is listed on the description. Not sure if it was a mistake or if they are shipping crappy toys, but I'm not paying $40 for a truck the size of a Guinea pig.

Bought it for my two year old grandson who is obsessed with trash trucks. Trash day is a national holiday at my daughter's house. So I was really disappointed when the "up/down" stopped working before the end of the first day he received it. Contacted the seller and they are shipping me a new one to replace the defective one.I'm hopeful that my grandson will get hours of enjoyment out of this truck.

I have two, two-year-old grandsons who can't wait to see the trash truck each week. So, when this arrive, I became the heroine of their lives. They play and play and play with this. It is very sturdy and even with their little hands are able to put the garbage can into the slot. I do wish the doors opened...heaven know they have tried!

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. Hi is 21/2 and loves watching the big garbage truck come by. I will have to wait until he opens his present at christmas to see how it performs. I will come back and write a review. The seller package the item nice and it arrived on time.

The part that attaches the trash can to the truck broke off within a day of light play, but my kids are so obsessed with this despite the fact it doesn't work anymore.

This truck is so amazing, I purchased one before this that was the exact same price but it functioned manually and was very hard for my 3 year old to use, I returned it and bought this and couldnt be happier, its a wonderful product and easy to use!

Bought this truck for my grandchild more than a year ago. It is his very favorite toy and believe me he has a lot of toys. Product still works perfectly after my almost 3 year old grandson has done everything he can that you would think would break it! This was a winner purchase.

Big hit with my grandson. I bought this for his 4th birthday and he was delighted with it.Has flashing lights and makes engine sounds.Little yellow bin goes up and empties into rubbish truck at the top where there is an opening. I'm unsure how sturdy that bit of the truck is but at the moment it's working well.All in all a good choice of toy for a 4 year old.

Arrived in a Fast Lane (Toys-R-Us) branded box. Be aware that there are similar looking but smaller versions on the market all made by the same manufacturer and sold under different brand names.Actual dimensions of this lorry is 15 inches long, 8 inches high, 5 inches wide.The Bruder bins do not have the locating tab to fit the lifting mechanism, (although it may be possible to rig something up), of this truck.

I bought this toy for my 3 year old grandson's birthday as he has a fascination for bin men. He absolutely loved it, in fact my 8 year old grandson who doesn't play with anything unless its connected to a wii or playstation started playing with it. The toy is very strong and very detailed. Its got an engine sound when the bin lifts into the wagon and has a reversing sound as well. Its very realistic and has provided hours of fun. It was well worth the money and I would recommend this toy over and over again.

Superb. Looked a bit flimsy when I first opened it but in actual fact is stronger than it looks. Good build quality and keeps my grandson amused for hours. Open the yellow dustbin and fill it with bits and pieces (small lego bricks work well), pull the lever and the bin rises up over the top and empties into the dustcart roof. Then it can be emptied from the rear of the cart when full.

My little boy loves this truck. Its been dropped, trod on, rubbish bin removed and put back millions of times - yet this truck is still going strong. Flashing lights, sounds, moving bin, flip open back all make this the perfect toy for little fingers. This is one of our good buys for our son
