I have ordered 3 of these ferris wheel kits, Great addition to a model steam engine. They make GREAT gifts for any one that likes to build....

We bought this for our 15 year old daughter because she loves to build things with metal. She absolutely loved building the Ferris wheel with enough challenges for her that it wasn't to easy. The parts were high quality and they were all there. She was excited that it was able to go around when she was done. However, when she finished it and turned it on it was great until the gears slip apart and the wheel falls down. The carriages also get stuck on each other when it goes around so it's not real smooth when it turns. She has turned these issues into challenges to fix. Overall, she loves it and we would buy another product like this and recommend this product to purchase.

Was worth the purchase. All the parts were there. Enjoyed putting it together. Just wish they also added a couple of people figures.

My son is an adult but loves to do models. He had this one done in about 15 hours. It looks and works great.

The 'new' battery box included with the set is a simpler version that misses the potentiometer to regulate the speed of the motor. The instructions included with the set still show the old version which was better. The new battery box also uses two non isolated male plugs that can short the battery. The back of the engine housing is open and the connection to the motor may break off if bend frequently. The plastic parts are all of poor quality.The metal parts are of the same high quality as 40 years ago - 5 stars.

The quality of the structure is excellent. If, however, you are missing some pieces you will meet radio silence. The US distributor web site allows for email contact, which is not answered. If you buy these products, open them, separate the pieces, count them, if short, pack and send back to amazon.

Ho acquistato il prodotto sulla base delle recensioni quasi tutte favorevoli che ho letto. Alcune di queste riferiscono che il gioco è adatto a partire dagli otto anni perché stimola la loro fantasia è loro capacità logiche. Io non credo che sia vero perché la costruzione é complessa (consta di 1200 pezzi che a me sono arrivati alla rinfusa comunque in una scatola sigillata. Le istruzioni non sono chiarissime per colpa delle immagini e dei disegni che traggono spesso in errore. Io ho impiegato 5 giorni per completare il lavoro.

Unser Sohn hat das Riesenrad geschenkt bekommen. Die Beschreibung ist verständlich. Das Zusammenbauen hat ihm viel Spaß gemacht. Jedoch hat er es nicht ganz allein geschafft. Gerade die Muttern sind sehr klein. Er hat beim Halten Unterstützung benötigt. Und er baut viel zusammen, dh er hat eigentlich viel Übung. Trotzdem, sehr toll! Auch sehr schön, dass sich das Riesenrad in unterschiedlichen Geschwindigkeiten und beiden Richtungen drehen lässt! Wir haben schon geschaut, was es noch aus der Reihe gibt...
