Great workout, but screaming is annoying!
This is an amazing total body workout. The moves are great and tough - it really works you. And I love that there are ppl of all shapes and sizes. The thing I find extremely annoying is the woman with the microphone constantly screaming and interrupting Billy. So beyond frustrating. I so badly want to do this workout often but I think her yelling will annoy me too much. If she only just stuck to counting and not constantly yelling and grunting.

great freedom and great workout
I've been going to Bally for over 5 years. They have similar boot camp led by an instructor for an hour to 1.5 hour. Bally has fixed and straight schedule. And the class is usually full and crowed with 20-40 people.Billy Blank's DVD let me do it whenever I can in my own room. I don't have to fight traffic after work to Bally anymore. The bonus is when I have to travel for work, I can bring it with me and play it on a laptop, too. Sweet! The intensity is about the same as Bally. Billy Blank may be more focus on the Deltoid and Shoulder. He probably thinks when you see a better upper body of yourself, you will stick with the routine. So, the idea is good. Leg exercise is a bit lacking. Nevertheless, it is a very good start on cardiovascular workout. Damage on join is less then Steps or running. It is very close to swimming when you use resistance band.Liked many other said, I don't like the bands come with it. It is worthwhile to get your own bell by a third party or get 2 dumpbells. 5-12 lb weight is about right, depending on your condition. Newbie might want to start light with 2 bottles of unopen V8. Each bottle is about 2 lb and the weight is free. After the work out, you can drink them. :) The key difference between belt and weight is that belt has progressive resistance for each motion. Weight has fixed resistance. I prefer belt and buying new belts every few months. Belt wears out; weight last very very long. Just checkout your grandpap's garage whom think he once was superman. :)Have fun and live healthy. :)

Great surprise!!!!
I actually sold the T3 set with the weights as the DVDs had way too much instruction and way too little workout and the T3 weights were pointless-too light to make me feel any burn.Purchased this by mistake as I didn't realize it used the T3 weights which I no longer have but surprisingly I loved this-used light free weights and heavy weights for rows and my arms were screaming!!He did some different arm excercises which I liked as straight bicep curls get boring and although I wasn't sweaty I felt worked and was enjoying the workout a lot! Also liked how each segment plays separately so if there's not a lot of time you can choose 1 or 2 only.I took off 1 star as like in many of his workouts he forgets to work other side and his Daughter Shellys constant screaming I could do without-other then that I do this one on a regular basis. Those T3 weights are only 1 pound I believe and it works just as well if not better to use light dumbells-I used 2,3 and 5 pounds for a lot of the arm work and the back excercises upped my weight to 6,7 and 8

Gets Better the More Times You Do It
Billy Blanks Tae-Bo-Get Celebrity Fit-Cardio is a standard Tae Bo Cardo video--meaning that it ranks right there in the middle of the bell curve. Its not really bad like Billy Blanks' Tae-Bo Cardio where the music is so slow-paced and the instruction interrupted with Billy's signature remarks, but its not a great workout either like Tae Bo Extreme! Billy Blanks, TaeBo, Push Your Limits with faster music and less frequent lulls in the action.Billy's technique works around the concept of doing the slow move first and then amping it up in what he calls a "cardio" move later. Whether or not his method qualifies as High Intensity Interval Training or not depends on what the participant is willing to put into it. Blanks will keep you moving, but its up to the viewer to really be vigilant. Its so easy to slacken off while Billy gives one of his motivational minutes. The music selected is an electronic vibe that works well;its ten times better than some of the other music Blanks selects for his other DVDs. There are, however, the usual complaints--Blanks tends to do only one side and than moves onto another slower move without amping up the last move as expected. But, don't get bogged down by this. As pointed out before, the fact that you are slowing down--not stopping, but keeping a steady faster heart rate and then pushing it may mean a much better calorie burn than expected.Get Celebrity Fit-Cardio is only 45 minutes long--the warm-up is relatively quick as is the cool-down. There is no floor work and there are no extreme jumping moves--Blanks utilizes his most familiar sequences to keep the body moving--although there are times when he throws in an "In-Out" move that just ruins the pace. Some of his combinations are awkward and do not work in an "at home/in-front-of-the-TV" space. Learn to make it work for you. When Blanks starts instructing one of his longer combos, I just start punching and kicking around the room just to keep my heart going. This can be annoying. Again, being prepared for these lags in the action will help the exerciser step up the action for his/herself--but the first time view can be a bit of a drag. This workout increases in value the more times that you do. You are familiar with what is coming and improvise.Bottom line? If you are looking for a 45 minute workout that uses familiar Tae Bo moves and you don't mind improvising when instructor Billy Blanks attempts to demonstrate an awkward sequence of moves that breaks the overall pace of the session, you may want to include Celebrity Fit Cardio in your DVD collection. Be prepared for better music, but don't expect the original Tae Bo Live Advanced 60 minute workout. Wish Blanks would reissue that Live Advanced Set of 12! Billy delivers once again
I have to be honest. I was indecisive about whether to buy this because I have a number of Tae Bo DVDs already and questioned if this would have enough new moves to make it worth my while. Well, I can honestly say that I am not disappointed.Yes there are some moves which you can find in his previous DVDs but there are enough new ones to keep my interest peaked. The work out lasts about 40 minutes and was intense enough to raise my heart rate and cause me to sweat. As usual, there were plenty of straight jabs, upper cuts etc combined with a variety of kicks so your whole body is put through an energetic, fast paced work out. The music was up to date and complemented the workout well.As usual, Billy was ebullient, motivating, engaging and continually urged you to push yourself harder. You really feel as if he is your personal trainer. This DVD would suit someone who would like to increase their overall fitness and flexibility. If you are new to Taebo, there is an instructional section. All in all, a great work out DVD that delivers what it promises and does not have narcisstic celebrity dullards cluttering up the screen with their annoying, inane chatter.I did not give five stars because Everybody Get Ripped, for me, is the best Tae Bo DVD, particularly if you really want an intense, hard work out that leaves you exhausted at the end.

Billy never disappoints.
Worked up a good sweat. Some moves repeated from other workouts, but l do love a good Tae no workout.

Very Disappointing
The problem is that Billy clearly doesn't rehearse his workouts, he just makes them up on the spot. Nowhere was this more evident that in this current DVD. The class are frequently thrown into chaos with people going this way and that, and Billy regularly loses count, does more on one side than the other, and generally confuses the hell out of everybody. I would also say the intervals are way too short to raise your heart rate sufficiently. It's a shame because his ideas are good, it's just the execution that's dreadful. The other thing that makes this so bad is that awful irritating woman who is in the background of every one he's ever done - during this one she just keeps screeching "SIR!!!!" at the top of her voice which makes you want to hit her.I had really hoped Billy would have improved by now as I do like the theory of Tae Bo but sadly I won't be bothering any more.If you want a good workout buy the "Ten Minute" Series DVD's "Kickbox Bootcamp" and "Carb and Calorie Burner". They are absolutely brilliant and the ones I always return to.

and it's only 45 minutes (if that) by the time you're finished the cool down stretching
This one is more for intermediate, and it's only 45 minutes (if that) by the time you're finished the cool down stretching, but I was still drenched in sweat by the end of it. IT's not as difficult as his others (Max Intensity, This is Tae Bo, Tae Bo Ripped Extreme, Tae Bo Advanced, Tae Bo Classic, Bootcamp Sculpt), but you still get an awesome work out. Love him!
