Adorable little shuttles
They are adorable! I decided to give those a try after tatting for 20 years with the ones bobbins and the hook attached. I love them! They are amazing little shuttles. For whatever reason, the hook works better than the ones attached to my old shuttles and it's way easier to undo the knots with the point of those shuttles. I like the long beading needle also. Very good product.

One Week Use Review from Daily Tatter and Great Dane Owner (this does matters...)
The last of my beloved Starlit shuttles bit the dust and I simply wasn't in the mood to make the 'free shipping' minimum from the shop so I took to 'zon to fill the need. I knew I wanted a post center and a pick tip (not a hook) because I used the Starlit's pick for a picot gauge, unfortunately there were no shuttles comparable to my Starlit's size for my not-dainty hands, but this variety had a reasonable price and fair ratings & reviews. I took the chance and I've been fairly impressed with them so far. quick to wind, adequate thread load, sturdy build, and fast delivery. My Great Dane is a 1.5yo puppy and is still in-training for service dog work, so my tatting supplies have made regular appearances but not sitting left out at the moment. But since these weren't my Starlits, she was immediately introduced to them and she's been learning to pick them up if I drop them or find if I misplace them, etc. They've fared very well in my girl's mouth and from being dropped on tile flooring and concrete floors repeatedly. They tat wonderfully, though, again, not for the not-so small handed amongst us crafters. If y'all got the chunky monkey fingers, like me, you're going to fumble with threading these and your hands take a bit of time to get used to the smaller size if you're used to using a larger size shuttle like Starlit. They do hold less thread, obviously, but enough to do a snowflake in size 20 thread. The beading needle! A lot of folks have had issue with this in the reviews and I have to explain this. We have different varieties of beading needles. These are actually standard seed bead needles (also called "big eye needle"). To find the eye, you used your fingernail or the pick of the shuttle, to separate the pieces of metal wire that are held together at the ends. You can also move the ends towards one another similar to a finger trap puzzle. I've included both a comparison photo of twisted wire beading needles to the seed bead needle and a photo displaying the big eye of the seed bead needle. Also among the photos are a comparison photo of Starlit shuttles to Butuze shuttles with a standard 3x3 sticky note, an in progress shot of one of the purchased shuttles, and an in action photo of the seed bead needle loading beads onto some ๅพไน 20 weight thread (marketed as golo on Amazon). In the end, I'm probably going to replace these when they eventually bite dust - with the same product. They're great for making jewelry pieces, but I'm not attempting any of the Renuleks with these just because I hate hiding thread joins and I know there would be many. I hope this was helpful for someone.

Small shuttles for demonstration or small projects.
I ordered these for our fiber guild for a beginning tatting demonstration. The kits were well received. The shuttles are small and don't hold a lot of thread so useful for mostly small projects or beginners but not for serious tatting. There is a good variety and the colors are true. The crochet hook provided was a good size for the expected size of knots with this kit. I wouldn't order these for any experienced tatter but for a small group who just wants to experience what tatting is about, they are fine. I don't think they would be a great choice for kids who may pull harder etc. They would not hold up.

Nice
Everything about it is good, I think I need to start with bigger ones. Worth the price, well made.

Perfect shuttles
These are some of the best shuttles I've used. I bought 16 shuttles and not one had any flaws! They are super lightweight and sturdy. Best thing in my opinion is the pick; it's wonderfully sharp. I have no troubles pulling threads through very small joining picots. I checked all of mine and the ends where the 2 sides meet are all nice and tight so no unwinding if I drop the shuttle. The size is the same as larger Clover brand shuttles if you are familiar with those. These don't have the gripper ridges in the middle that other post shuttles have, but I've not had any trouble holding and using them. The colors are amazing & bright; I admit I love the black & red ones best. It's also nice with the clear that I can see just how much thread is on the shuttle. Picture 1 has the blue shuttle from this seller and a small Clover (pink) for size comparison. Pictures 2 & 3 are the black shuttle so you can see what the shuttles are like.

Economical and pretty!
These colorful shuttles are very economical! After trying an Aerolit I wanted a shuttle that was a little shorter and these work great. One of the 14 has a gap on the back side just large enough for the thread to come through, but at this price it isn't even enough to complain about. The tip is perfect for pulling out mistakes.

Tatting shuttle
I love these shuttles. The size is perfect for my hand โ๏ธ and on top of that you can use thr sharper edge to fetch the yarn thru picots... so you don't need an extra crochet needle ! Try it, you'll understand what I am saying. Over all the prize is right on the dot. Enjoy

Missing Pieces
Some of the shuttles have mold flashing on the edges that requires removal to not catch the thread, the picks chip easily, and the package was missing the needles entirely. Still, it's a large pack of serviceable shuttles which is what I needed to teach the basics to a group of children.
