Lower star due to saying white when they send black. Great value, lovely finish. But ensure that the mounting wheel is not loose when you tighten the mount so that it remains interlocked to the camera body preventing any movement with respect to the grip. Luckily for my taste, the black grip appears to complement the white camera body very nicely, which after all has a black rear! You cannot now use the body case, but the base of the camera is protected by the grip and the tripod mounting is steadier. Still not a great improvement in the camera grip due to its small profile, but it does feel more comfortable to hold when in portrait orientation. Incredible value, when Nikon dares charge many times more for accessories, which they continue to do because we let them when we buy at their prices. So carry on encouraging these great Amazon offers by buying them.

I love my V1, but its not the greatest design in the world - especially when it comes to handling. The body housing is very smooth and metallic and always felt like it was going to be dropped.This grip was such good value, I thought I would give it a try. Its actually a really useful, well made grip. It adds little to the weight, but improves handling massively.With this and the 18.5mm attached, I have a really enjoyable street-shooting experience. Well balanced and super fast.

Good but stated it was white but was actually black so if it is important it matches camera don't buy!

Vale quello che costa. Per cambiare scheda o batteria bisogna smontarlo. Si adatta bene alla forma della mia Nikon 1 V1 ma si muove un poco (gira di poco ma tanto da non farlo sentire così stabile come uno vorrebbe). Il tassello dove si aggrappano le dita è poi tutto in plastica, senza anima in metallo e per questo tende a piegarsi un poco aumentando la sensazione di instabilità.Pagato poco, vale il giusto.
