What size are the individual steps?

The rubber inserts in the steps are just over 9" and about 14" wide. It's the steepness that's not so good even when fully extended. And the steps are very heavy to carry about.

The description says it is made from stainless steel. but it looks like painted steel and says aluminium colour. which is correct please.

It’s painted, very steady and stable. It’s looks very resilient but, as I’ve not submitted it for analysis, I can’t identify the construction material!
